DEA Special Agent Brian Neil, who is assigned to the Denver Division was charged by Douglas County prosecutors with felony menacing and official misconduct following Neil's stop of a driver who cut him off in traffic. One thing to bear in mind is that displaying a weapon in an inappropriate manner can be construed as an aggravated assault.

The story of the young men is fishy. I suspect they had drugs or a gun in the car and drove away. That is the only scenario that makes sense to me.

@@federallawenforcementcaree9900 Of course it couldn't be because he's an a-hole abusing his power. BTW geneius how does he know that they have drugs in the car? , why were there not any other DEA agent involved ( ON SCENE), why were not local police or sheriffs involved? Usually DEA don't make random stops. If there was a gun, what proof was there it is unlicensed?

I was a DEA agent from 1985-2012. Mostly enforcement except for 3 miserable years at DEA HQ. I may be going back into the field as a magistrate here in VA.

Not that it is an excuse, but we have seen what kind of psychological damage happens over time to Air Marshals because of the schedule and work involved. Maybe FLE agencies everywhere need to reevaluate their operations and start asking why this is happening to the most vetted and psychologically stable people there are.

Quite a bit of both. Paperwork all day and surveillance/enforcement all night. A good job for a single person or someone who is a workaholic.

Why do I think this is getting out of proportion? I'm sure the father will try to sue the USG for racial profiling or some other dumb charge. The agent however; deserves a good 45 days suspension for being a jack azz. All he had to do was call the cops.

What business does the DEA have with where that kid is from ? , or where his parents are from ? I suspect there is nothing on the kids, he was just being an a-hole, or else there would be at least 2 DEA agents to make arrests, or some co-operation with local sheriffs. BTW, if this was a bust where is the DEA agent's AXON body camera? Oh he forgot it at home. LETS NOT FORGET THE BEAUTY HE GRABBED THE KIDS CELL PHONE.
