The purpose of this channel is to provide information for young people, state and local officers, veterans and the public about the opportunities in the various federal law enforcement agencies, the requirements and training for each and the mission of these agencies. We cover every agency from the FBI to the DOD Police. We also discuss topics of interest to the federal law enforcement community about legal and policy issues that impact the important work done by the agents and officers employed by the United States Government.
Application, after the training period and the hiring one, there is possibility to be placed within specific offices of NCIS (like the one at Quantico, obviously very unlikely but only as an example) with the expectation of staying there, or is a future transfer to a ship sure?
Also, the pathway of joining the military to get to HRT is completely unecessary. Many are former military. Many are former civilian law enforcement (usually SWAT). Some are just other agents who tried out. You have to be excellent, but you don't have to do all this distraction nonsense. Same is true for other agencies.
Sir, I’m a police officer of seven years locally and have started the process for the DEA. I’m doing my physical next week. I’m not sure if this page is still monitored, but I have a few questions about the process. Additionally, I have to write my final paper for my degree and I’m writing it over the DEA. I’d love to ask you a few questions about the organization since you’re a retired agent.
I had body guards from the time I was a child. It’s important that those being protected do not go outside the area without telling your staff that you’re going.

USPP actually has jurisdiction throughout the entirety of Washington DC and contiguous counties in DC, VA, and MD. Also USPP do investigations, Its a dangerous job for sure, especially in DC as USPP routinely patrol residential communites/neighborhoods.
Best series of videos I have seen on these topics In addition to being a Houston Police Officer in the 60’s and 70’s,I worked over a decade as an agent with DEA when it formed in 1973 in the Houston DO. Like the great presenter says about himself, I worked up and out of field work which I loved. This agent knows his stuff about this and the other videos he has presented. This is not BS. I retired at 52, my tsp was in the 800k range at the time. Since then I’ve left it in and it’s gone north of 1 mil since so this is solid advice. 59 now and hoping to leave it untouched for a few more years. I also have a Roth IRA, and the house is paid off so there’s equity there. Planning early, living modestly and making a few smart decisions can pay off.

I worked for TSA as an Officer for about two years and then applied for CBP as an officer as a GS9. I was a Pay Band E at TSA which is consider a lead (supervisor)level band. In addition, my Master's Degree allowed for my CBP application at a GS9. I went though the process for CBP but I turned it down to teach, I have a teaching license. I enjoyed federal employment but teaching I felt I would enjoy a little more. To get the CBP officer job working at TSA is a plus. Plus I also got the Capitol police job, turned it down only because of location. Thank you for explaining about federal law enforcement because the average person has no idea how hard and rewarding a career in federal law enforcement.
Can you give me some insight on the TSA process? That’s what I’m waiting on right now. I’m at 100% onboarding and completed the background paperwork on April 8. I passed the medical and just waiting to hear from the background I guess. How do you know when you have been placed in the ready pool?

Wether it is through misinformation or by creating civil unrest. Yes it sounds kind of crazy, but information dominance is a chess move that our enemies can exploit.,
Well, Im not sure if they are the most secretive. Im sure their protocol, response, tactics, logistics... basically operations are secretive. But, if you can find the Agency online, they are probably not that secretive. There are a few agencies that I know of, that have Title 18 and other Title status(s), that I would prefer not to mention, whose agencies do not appear anywhere.. Although I would not want to do battle with any DOE Escort guys, (Those guys actually have special custom vehicle seats to match their physique and position of weapons), still, there are other agencies that I would be more afraid of. Just my thought.
