I'm currently making my own shoes. What started as a custom orthetic insole is becoming a s2 glass fiber running sandal.

Human feet are square-ish at the front. Modern shoes are triangular at the front. All sorts of back, hip and foot pain and pther issues are a result of this. All "progress" is useless if that doesn't change.

Alpine Altra's They worked good on the Appalachian, no reason to change
