This is the video I've been waiting for! It's not an American road trip until you've stood by a fiberglass or metal dinosaur! (Let alone, climbed inside one and ROARED!!! 😀)
Yes!!! I was thrilled when I saw that I could climb it. And then I was so disappointed that I could barely see anything at all outside. But then I was thrilled again when I saw that sign :D
My beloved Swedish dude! Hope you are doing well. Good video as always, very entertaining. By the way, do you have a "talk about myself" video by chance? I'd love to see how you detach from your swedishness. Many blessings!
Thank you so much! And oh not really - not yet at least. I figured that most people aren't very interested in me, so it'd get like 20 views and crash and burn :D
Well what can I say if it’s weird you will find it. There is two different types of weird, the interesting and the tourist traps and I’m glad you showed us the interesting ones for the most part 😅. I enjoyed the video, stay safe till next time.
I actually like some tourist traps as well, but I think I got a nice mix of things in this video :D I had a blast visiting all of the places either way! Except for that pitiful space port... Cheers!
I bet they'll be there whenever you decide to visit - if they've lasted tens of thousands of years, a few more won't hurt :D Nah, the only wailing I heard was from the overworked immigrants. Oh wait, I never said that!
My brother and I grew up watching a movie called The Wizard, it features the Cabazon dinos so when we moved out here we made it our mission to go see them at least once. Definitely worth it to appease our inner child. I would love to go to the La Brea tar pit as well, and for the same reason 😅 And I must say I feel your pain about working in fast food. I used to work at Subway many years ago and I had to cut SO many red onions in an area that wasn't ventilated and I can't ever eat them or smell them again. Sometimes I'm not sure if the worst part about working fast food was the people or the onions!
Personally I'd say that the grease was worse than the people - at least I could ignore people ^_^ But oh! I've seen The Wizard but I don't remember the dinosaurs from it. I need to rewatch it some day! I think that's the one with the Nintendo competition, right? Haha, I'm all for appeasing one's inner child - that's why I went to tons of amusement parks as well during my trip.
I envy you that! I stayed in the back as much as I could but during rush hour I had to make sandwiches and also be a cashier 🥲 That's the one! Such a classic! Have you ever seen Last Action Hero? That's the movie that's always made me want to see the tar pits :D Highly recommend it if you haven't
@@lulu.chains.88 Ouch poor thing! Well, at least that's in the past now ^_^ And oh yeah absolutely! But I don't remember it at all - and I don't remember the tar pits either... I guess that one is long overdue for a re-watch :D
I’m surprised that you didn’t visit Sarah Winchester’s Mystery House in San Jose! It’s definitely unusual and is said to be haunted. Plus they have an original chair that belonged to Walt Disney. As for Las Vegas, not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, because that’s where I got married and I didn’t leave my husband there! We thought it was funny that when we were landing the pilot said, “Welcome to the city of Lost Wages.” By the way what happened to your nose and cheeks?
I actually had no idea about that house! Well, now I have a reason to return to the west coast... And I love that pilot! That's an awesome way to prepare people for Vegas. It's really cool that so many people are getting married there - I guess that's something that will never change. Well. Let's just say that it wasn't all that warm in San Diego, so I thought that I could skip sunblock. Then I burned my nose and I thought that it couldn't get worse. And then when it got worse I thought "ah, I've already burned it to a crisp"... Etc...
San Francisco is very nice in some places but it’s so sad that it’s gone downhill lately but San Fran is close to where I was born and raised in Modesto. I have spent a lot of time in San Fran as a kid!
@@Jordynfire I actually loved San Francisco even if it has gone downhill. It felt like a gorgeous and pleasant place, with lots of fun things to do. But there were so many great places all over CA - I had a wonderful time exploring it all!
