White Chicken Kofta Curry
Ingredients for Kofta:
Chicken mince 800 g
Onion (chopped & squeezed) 1 cup
Green chilies 2-3
Garlic cloves 4-5
Ginger pods 4-5
Crushed cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander seeds crushed 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Green coriander (chopped) 1/2 cup
Oil (for frying) as required
Ingredients for White Gravy:
Oil 1/4 cup
Onion paste 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds crushed 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
NESTLÉ MILKPAK Yogurt 1 cup
Fried kofta
NESTLÉ MILKPAK Dairy Cream
Hot water 1 cup
Green coriander (chopped) for garnishing
Green chilies (chopped) for garnishing
Directions for Kofta Preparation:
1. In a chopped add chicken mince, onion, green chilies, garlic cloves, ginger pods, crushed cumin seeds, red chili powder, coriander seeds crushed, salt, green coriander and chop them well.
2. Once the mixture is ready, make small kofta shapes from the mixture and set aside.
3. In a pan heat oil and add prepared kofta. Shallow fry them until 80% done. Set aside.
Directions for White Gravy Preparation:
4. In a pot heat oil and add onion paste. Cook for a minute. And ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
5. Now add crushed cumin, salt, white pepper powder, crushed black pepper and cook for a minute.
6. Now add NESTLÉ MILKPAK Yogurt and cook until oil separates.
7. Add fried kofta and give it a good mix. Add hot water and bring it to a simmer.
8. Cover and cook for 10-15 mins. Now take off the lid and add NESTLÉ MILKPAK Dairy Cream. Mix it well.
9. Dish it out and garnish it with green coriander, green chilies and serve. Your White Chicken Kofta Curry is ready.
