I could definitely feel three seperate pieces of elastic in my original skirt, but I love the wide elastic idea and will have to give it a try! Thanks!

🤔 Thought that 👵 granny gown had a remarkably charming yoke with such vintage flair👍. Overall, still strongly felt that the garment was pretty darn hideous and beyond saving 😨. Janelle, however looks absolutely 💥darling💥 in her updated playsuit with the 🌻petite prairie floral pattern. ♀️ It's feminine, but the sporty fresh style🏸 keeps it from being "too precious." Those cap sleeves and matching sash were super ⚡finishing⚡ details. Without a doubt, this transformation truly went from 🗑trash to treasure💲. 😉 So, dratted unfair too. Know I would look absolutely absurd AF 😵 in that style. 🦋

Sewing all three at once would’ve made it a lot harder to thread the elastic into the casings (especially the top two casings) 😊

Quite a ☄inspiration☄ for us new flippers.👏👏👏 🎯Your tranformation of this garment from striped pants to skirt was quite stunning. 🤡 You did change it from clownish to ultra flattering & feminine. 💙Loved how you styled it in the end too. 🤔Think I'm quite a ways from wanting to tackle something like that, but I DO believe I might be able to replicate that waist in a skirt (or pant). ⏳Having a small waist in proportion to my hips, I have always preferred an elastic or drawstring waistband. 🎀 Although drawstrings seem to wear out considerably faster from constantly being cinched in😭. 🛍When you buy fast fashion, they tend to sew both the elastic & drawstring in that waist too. 😔That makes it tricky (if not impossible), for an amateur like myself to replace either. 😆So frustrating when the fabric of the garment remains in good condition otherwise. 🎉Your 3 channels for an elastic waist is pretty brilliant.
