goodness interesting journey by road going up Penang Hill, thanks for sharing it. Looks very precarious, I think I prefer taking the furnicular railway up next time I come back to lovely Penang.

Unfortunately, if I took the furnicular, I would have had to walk a great distance to reach our destination, which is the Buddhist sanctuary.

I thought it is not permissible to drive up to Penang Hill. The only way up is by train.

You only can take the funicular train or the jeep or hike up Penang Hill. You cannot drive up with your own vehicle.

This is with the provided jeep service. They have their booth at the Botanic Gardens.
