I am the youngest of 4 and I’m that buddy that stayed behind to take care of my parents, My mom had cancer and she passed away 2 years ago and my dad is on life support at home. I believe that they took care of me growing up and when I needed them so it was my turn to take care of them and make them as happy and healthy as possible before the end. Go Church!💯🇺🇸💪08-03/2020
roids 2010 yeah I’m 16 young and dumb and I’ll think I’m BO duke with general lee and I’ll be revin my truck up knowing my home boys home and I’m still able to ride around and just have straight pipe it
29yo no kids been single 75% of my life no career just jobs no ties to anyone or anywhere always the life of the party and all in all free spirited this is my song 💯
My brother is a year older than me, he died having his friends back. His friend was drunk and got in a fight with his gf, she caught a ride with a guy that was gonna take her home, well, my brothers friend got in his truck to chase them down, my brother jumped in to have his back if somethin was to happen, the friend wrecked, my bubba was killed and ejected from the truck, well his friend passed up 11 houses to get back to the party and him and all our so called friends, we've known since kindergarten, all went to the wreck site and took the gasket from the drivers side window and put it around my brothers legs. Then called the cops and said my brother was driving.. so, 10 years later, i dont speak to any of them, they are all liars... but anyway, October 17, 2010 made 10 years hes been gone, i miss him so much, his personality was alot like upchurch and luke combs... ive cried billions upon billions of tears missing him, when i listen to upchurch it makes me remember so many fun and great country memories of my bubba. So thank you Ryan...
@FTR 76 thanks man I’m actually a kid who realizes how quick everything happens I’ve learned to cherish every moment in life and I recently lost one of my buddies so I’ve been taking time to think on that as well
@FTR 76 yep man I’ve been looking to the brighter side and remembering the memories we have I’m the one who cheers up the group there starting to go back the there old self obviously we’ll never be completely normal without him but that’s normal so we sneak beer into the cemetery and always drink one with him I’ll always have this old soul that won’t leave me
Ryan brother you don't know me from Adam but my big brother passed away yesterday and by God Casey Lynn Troglin Loved this song and the last full day we spent together we were burning down having a ball bro you gave me a memory I'll never forget when I hear this song it's because of music like this it helps a man that has lost so much so fast smile and remember the good times thank you Church
This takes me back to Hank Jr. " All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down." Nicely done Upchurch. I'm the same way as far as the " Welcome To Tennessee." I've got 4 girls and 2 boys and I've settled down. But I wouldn't want it any other way now. But I'm so glad I get to hear you singing and rappin' as I grow old. 🎸🎶
"Back when Holler Boys by Upchurch was playin' on the radio"- fuggem. Gettin' my Ryan Upchurch on. Still hoping you got the package. It wasn't in the Amazon truck, that's fo sho! USPS! Thanks for staying you and stay bored as well. That's some of the most 🔥🎵 and lyrics. They see (bored), I see (beastmode) #RHEC #creeksquad
Love the part about making the 35s fit, I'm late 40s and still like my trucks, big, loud, and where I gotta fight to get in it, my man got me hooked on 'em
This is straight talent idgf what anyone says. If u can do rap rock and country and in your own kinda style is truly amazing. Idk anyone else that can do it like church keep em coming bubba
Let's not forget funniest comedian that isn't a comedian! You should check out Jelly Roll and Struggle Jennings. They do all three as well. I'd love to hear a collab with the three of them together. In all three genres.
Hahaha so true!!!!!! I feel ya man!!! Child at heart but bust ass day after day just to survive!! Thank god for church to give us music to jam to while we still act childish
This is one on my favorite songs off the album. It actually brought tears to my eyes, in a good way. It reminds me of growing up in the sticks of TN, and it's so awesome to hear someone paint such a perfect picture of the small town, deep in the sticks of TN life.
I revisit this song so often. truly made for one of them hollerboys that minds their own business. best way I can describe it is you stay to what you know whether how much happens or changes around you. always a real one church🤟🏼
CPTmoonlight honestly same man at 23 almost 24. Almost everyone my age has kids, getting married, moving away, already married or having kids and I’m just here doing my own thing... got engaged last February but got left high and dry in June and honestly.. though I miss that women so damn much at times, it may of been the greatest thing to happen was her leaving.
"that old water tower, smacked dab in the middle of town" love this new album. It makes me think of the good old times when I was growing up. I may be a female but I still live in the same town I grew up in. ❤️
His songs do paint vivid pictures and I also remember things I did with my friends when I was a kid. And I can relate so much to his music he is truly the most underrated musician out there
"Listening to Billy Bob loves Charlene" "Looking for a spot to get my Willie Nelson on" man how do you think this stuff up it amazes me at the talent you have and I am anticipating what's to come keep it up bub Odd dam bubba classic
I never realized what this song would mean to me until after I graduated high school. One of my old buddies is getting married and one already has a kid. It’s only been 2 years but I’m starting to understand it now
Damnit Ryan!!!! Take it easy on these other artists 😉🤘🤘 nobody stands a chance, you are the King of the South!!! Thankyou for giving us such great content and music, Its the soundtrack to my everyday life and I feel blessed to have it! Keep it rockin Skin 🤘
I feel you but God is taking everything away from me.. my wife took my daughter to her country and just told me she's not coming back that our marriage is over I'm having a hard time finding work about to go homeless I just don't know what else to do I keep trying I keep trying to push forward but the more I try the harder life fights back I just don't know how much more I can take
Huge fan! Love his positivity and how he refuses to take bullshit from anybody and makes GREAT MUSIC. Hell Id love to spend a day in the sticks with u man! Keep doing what u do brother ! RHEC !🗣🗣🎊🇺🇸
I do only thing that keeps me going daily this dude is a fuggin legend 90% of his story in these songs is my exact life I go back from sitting on the couch with outlaw church appreciate you and your 🎵🎶 one day I'll be right with you telling my story....creeksquad for life!!
A lot of times you hear a song that you can relate to parts of. This song though. Is about the story of my life at 31. And for a simple low key song it hits the feels harder then expected. Real music.
[Verse 1] That old water tower smack dab in the middle of town One time I was gonna spray paint big green pot plant on that Then I sobered up and I looked around And I couldn't believe what I seen All my buddies grew up, had babies and a wife But one of them buddies ain't me [Chorus] 'Cause I'm still ridin' around this town Still blarin' the same old songs Still try to find a spot where the cops don't park So I can get my Willie Nelson on I still stay lit like a county fair Sweeter than a jug of Milo's tea Yeah, your buddies might have moved out their own hometown But one of them buddies ain't me [Post-Chorus] Nah, it ain't me Nah, it ain't me Nah, it ain't me Nah, it ain't me [Verse 2] They say buy a lift kit 'cause now you're rich but that's not my frame of mind I still trim the bumper off in the front just to fit my 35's I got the tread still hummin' down cracked asphalt Singin' Billy Bob loves Charlene And I still love seein' that hometown life Says welcome to Tennessee [Chorus] And I'll be ridin' around this town Still blarin' your favorite songs I'll be sittin' in a spot where the cops ain't parked Gettin' my Ryan Upchurch on Yeah you know I'm lit like a county fair Stay chuggin' on Milo's tea Yeah, your buddies might've moved out their own hometown But one of them buddies ain't me [Post-Chorus] Nah, it ain't me Nah, it ain't me Nah, it ain't me Nah, it ain't me [Chorus] 'Cause I'm still ridin' around this town Still blarin' the same old songs Still try to find a spot where the cops don't park So I can get my Willie Nelson on I still stay lit like a county fair Sweeter than a jug of Milo's tea Yeah, your buddies might have moved out their own hometown But one of them buddies ain't me
"Holler Boys" and "No one told us" are good too, but "One of them Buddies ain't me"....its gonna stand the test of time, ten years from now, we will still be driving around blaring it!

This song, Radio Jam, Holler Boys, My neck of the woods, Stuck on 17 , Fallen all really emotional songs that make me think, feel, and reminisce on those memories. Good shit Upchurch. Parachute is an amazing project. Can't wait to see what lies ahead.
So at about 6 this morning I pulled up at a gas station in Lafayette Indiana and had this song playing loud enough for people to hear outside of my car and when I came out a random black guy asked me what song it was because he was feeling it 🙃 💪🔥 spreading the love
🎶 Be riding around this town still BLARING your favorite song, I'll be sitting in spot where the cops ain't parked getting my Ryan UPCHURCH on🎶 This line tells a Story of My LIfe
Now he’s married with a little girl. Love ya church! Ik you don’t remember me but we met and you took a picture of my boots to show briana! Still jamming out to ya! Hopefully gonna see ya in wv again!
From walking with a group of buddies down a hometown road laughing, hitting the parties every weekend in the high school days, popping out at gandy blvd bridge for the car meets and races, asking your right hand man if he wants to kick it Friday night and turn a wrench. Now I’m up by 6am everyday getting ready for work to come home and do the same thing tomorrow. Damnit do I miss my buddies, and I appreciate the few that are still around🤜🏼🤛🏼 St.Petersburg FL
I’m 25 years old I relate to this so damm much it’s crazy most nights it’s just me a single cab truck and blasting music around my small town but starting to see the change in lots of friends growing up getting married buying houses having baby’s and thinking maybe it’s time I starting chasing the same stuff church’s music always speaks to me
Damnnn Upchurch this song is fire. I’m 14 and this song already hits me hard just thinking of all the times when the boys got together in our small ass town and RHEC and still many more times to come. You ever think that out of all times we are here growing up while Upchurch is pumping our fire lyrics. Love you man your songs really calm me down and get me in a better mood when i need it ❤️
When I say this I’m being sincere: I can honestly say Upchurch will reach the same respect and status as Alan Jackson, George Jones, George Strait etc. I still listen to his stuff almost religiously, even more so on my cross country move in 3-4 days here. Keep the songs coming man, I love em.
Just because y'all like him better than every other artist it doesn't mean that he is actually better than every other artist ...just to keep it real. Lol
This song hit me a little different. I was still riding around not married with no kids.. Then I heard this song and realized I had life all wrong. Got married to the love of my life, had a baby boy and gave up the wild life I lived. Couldn't be happier now. I know that's not the message this song was meant for but it hit me deep and made me take a hard look at my life and what I was doing with it. Thanks Church ur the G.O.A.T. bruh
Mr.Ryan, can you please for the love of God release this on Apple!!!!! Ps: I’m one of them buddies, too. Just in Georgia. Your voice is pretty - acoustic version would be bad ass!!!
