2024 is looking like it’s full of fun movies, from Kung Fu Panda 4, to Dune Part 2, and everything in between. So naturally there are a lot of people itching to see these releases. But at the same time, there are some upcoming releases that have not generated the same kind of positive buzz. Some of them have already begun getting snark and hate online, which is never a great sign. And while it’s still way too early to declare that these aren’t good flicks, they haven’t generated a lot of positive anticipation. In this video, we’re taking a look at some of the movies coming out this year that fans are already hating on. We’re taking a look at one that’s already out, featuring a star who is about as popular as can be at the moment. And yet… people are not loving her new movie. We’re looking at an adaptation of a popular video game series that has been plagued by rewrites, reshoots, and odd casting. We’re also looking at a remake of a classic 1980’s action flick that maybe looks less than appealing to a segment of the viewing public. And to us, that one is a surprise, cause the trailer looks great!. Then there are the ones that kinda make sense, like a sequel to a horror movie that probably shouldn’t have been made in the first place, and the second part to a Netflix movie that didn’t have a promising start with its first half.
