I got one of those k31s during the sale too. Killer deal. Mine was in mint condition minus the stock being a little beat up around the buttplate but they kind of all are like that. Lol cleaned up great
love the drill rounds, i love hunting down the accessories, look forward to seeing the swiss k31 come together , i have always found the Czech stuff to be really well made , happy parts hunting !!
Glad I picked up one of those K31s from Centerfire. Beautiful shape...and now have an 1896/11 from Edelweiss after their Labor Day sale. Might have to get a barreled action for a project gun! I caught the Swiss bug.
As you and many others, I too got the K31 from centerfire, and got my magazine from Colorado gun sales, my K31 is blonde and absolutely in mint condition. Did you check for the troop tag under the butt stock, all my swiss rifles had one K31, k11, g11
What is the name of the publication you are exhibiting? I just started my collecting journey and would love to see a list of some of the resources you are using.
@@Will_ONeill Appearances can be deceiving. Shotgun News has been out of print for years, but it sure looks like it! I would love to subscribe to whatever it is.
I'm considering on buying, but I don't really trust ordering like it says online. How do you usually order them? Just as an example. Also, how would you order if you were having it shipped to a FFL if you aren't one yourself?
Choose a local FFL you like and have them fax a copy of their FFL to whoever your ordering from and have them put your name on heading. Then simply call to place your order then pick it up at your FFL and be ready to pay a transfer fee.
About to order a lot of 3 from them. A Mexican, 1916 Carbine, and a 1943 Spanish Mauser. Going to have to brute force it since I had gone a month with no responses on estimated shipping cost. Did try to call with no avail. Just gonna send a little more for shipping. If I do all 3 sicks I couldn't get much info on how many Mexicans are without bolts. But will see as soon as I get my signed ffl for it
@@The_Casual_Collector gotcha just trying to wrangle my ffl guy for it. As the last thing I need. Want to get my C&R but moving rather soonish and rather wait when I move to get it. I got the parts sorted out incase I get a boltless Mexican Mauser, though am torn between getting either Spanish Mauser and if it comes through I'll get the latter just to make sure my first ffl purchase goes without a hitch
@@The_Casual_Collectoralso one quick question how much was one of those Israeli k98ks? I did send an email just if by any chance if they still had any. Long shot but may try for one
I detail that process at the beginning of this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lgChIYGy1i0.htmlsi=OJoxd4xN63qJ6jit Also, it is extremely hard to get anyone on the phone over there.
It's easier than you think, I did a video on the application process. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HkYgcN6Nh3s.html
Hunters lodge owes me 300 Dollars and they don't answer my emails or my calls..... I wish I could buy some of the things they have right now, but they literally stole some of my money so yeah...I placed an order and paid and they sent it COD, I tried calling and they didn't answer so I paid the COD. They initially said they would give me store credit but then stopped answering...
Man that sucks, and that's really odd, I've not had that happen...yet...but I know Military Surplus Carbine Collector waited quite a long time to get his CZ-27. I've never tried the COD route though. I was able to get James on the phone like 2 weeks ago, but I haven't been able to get back in touch with him since. I guess I'll see what happens this time around.
The order they owe me for is from FEB so yeah it has been a long fight and I have nothing. They put COD on the order by accident, but I didn't know what else to do when I couldn't get in touch with them and the post office wanted their money.@@The_Casual_Collector On another note if I were buying from them I would definitely get a type 99 barrel action(something to consider). If it includes the bolt that is a steal.
