I would do a border on the first baby blanket. I would square off the ripple edges and do 5 - 6 rounds to frame the blanket. Is there some way to use the same yarn to make each round in a solid color that matches the blanket. I'd call it The Gentile Slumber Ripples Blanket.
I am Loving It ALL 💖💖💖🌞! Thank You so much Cody for taking care of your/our CG & sharing Your Awesome Crochet Blanket's, etc with all of us 💖🌞! Glenda, Love Your Blanket & Love You Guy's 💖🌞!
Thank You so much for watching these videos it means a lot! 😘 Hope you enjoyed seeing our upcoming crochet projects! Remember to drop a like on the video!!!
Cody, Your Crocheting is Awesome & Thank You so much for taking care of Creative Grandma 💙💙💙🌞! Crystal at BOD is having her Animal Auction at 8pm the same time of this Video so if it doesn't get as many views, then maybe You can release this Video again. I'm not sure how RU-vid works. I know there was almost 800 people on her live when I left to come over & watch You Guy's. I hope this helps because I know You are trying to help Your Grandma. We love You Guy's 💙💖🌞🌞 !
Cody you should really try to get your own RU-vid channel. I think that a lot of people including myself would become members of your channel as your crochet skills are developing very fast and I love to see what you are working on all of the time.
Really enjoy you with CG and Bee and crochet!! I know as a Nana, time with the grands is love ❤️ Beautiful new projects!! I see the bee 😊 How about Jelly Ripple? 😊 Crochet is indeed very relaxing! 😊
Cody I think you probably provide a level of security to new crocheters by telling the problems that you are having. I remember getting very frustrated when I was a beginner if things didn't work out the way they should. ( I still have those mements)I'm sure many people give up. I always tell beginners to keep on trying and one day like magic the project will be just like you want it. Practice is the key and also learning from folks like your CG who have so much experience. I've been crocheting over 60 years and have learned so much just in the last ten years by watching RU-vid. Keep up the beautiful work!
Glenda…I’m really enjoying your videos with your grandson, Cody. You both are a joy to watch. 🥰 All the blankets shown are so pretty and I’m looking forward to tutorials and finished projects. 😊
Thank you for doing these videos and showing all the different yarns! When little kids are at the beach and they run toward the water and then the water chases them back up the beach. Sort of making a zig zag pattern. I think Cody's baby blanket should be called "Chasing the Ocean"
Great job, Cody! Love the bee behind you too. ❤love your channel creative grandma… aside from this one there’s only one RU-vidr that makes big blankets granny square peg. ❤
Great job, Cody!! I like Jelly Ripple for the name of the baby blanket. Yes, on a border, no on the tassles. Same color for a border, maybe at the peaks make a chain 3 picot? Keep up[ the great work 💗💗
Great baby blanket, Cody. My suggestion is a border all around. I would use a dark color and make it a simple border. I would name that blanket Cherished Chevrons. It makes me think of cuddling, caring arms that hold and protest our littlest treasures.
Love Cody’s blankets…both the finished and WIP. They’re perfect for baby and the colors are also perfect. It’s so good to see a young person, especially a young man, interested in the fiber arts. Love your WIP blanket too. It looks intricate but lovely. Looking forward to more makes from the both of you.🥰
Cody, don't worry too much about your tension changes. As you get more and more accomplished, you may still have some inconsistencies, noticable mostly by just you only. I so commend you for getting this lifelong, enjoyable handwork added to your days!
For a baby blanket, I think a border would be better. I feel fringe would be ok for a small baby. For a toddler, fringe would end up in the mouth. Beautifil blanket! Have a terrific week.
Hi Miss Glenda and Mr. Cody! I absolutely am in love with that cross stitch blanket! I definitely cannot wait for the pattern. The baby blanket is beautiful. The jelly belly baby blanket! I think it would look nice with tassels. Thank you both for your videos. God’s blessings to you both and your family.
I agree that blanket and color way is pretty! With or without a border😊. I wouldn’t make the tassels, they make washing a hassle for me😁! Thanks for sharing, both of you 🙏🏻🤗💕!
I love that your grandson Cody crochets with you, he’s so lucky to have you to teach him❣️ I love all the projects I’ve seen you both make. I too have a tension problem with crocheting & have to pay attention when I first pick up my project because my tension will be different. God bless you & I understand running to doc appts all the time & also taking parents & family to doc appts. Getting older isn’t for wimps…😂
Love the jelly cinnamon roll blanket and I would say tassels with same yarn. Also Cody I really liked that unicorn blanket. Seeing the yarn worked up makes a difference. It is just lovely.
Love you two. Cody love your blankets great job! Swirl jam (aka ripple 32) border plz. Keep the blankets coming friend. Hooked by Robin has awesome patterns
Hi. Always love your videos, thanks for sharing. So nice to see Cody and his Grandma together. You are blessed 😊 Beautiful blanket Cody, nice job. I saw your unboxing, loved the colors and ordered myself 2 of those cakes! Well maybe just go with the name of the color of the yarn, kinda cute 😉
I like borders over fringe. The border could be purple since purple is in the blanket or a standard black. I like the moveable bee. You could name Cody's blanket "The Ripple Wave Blanket". The fall blanket is pretty.
Nice job Cody. I never really cared for fringe on baby blankets as it always ends up in the baby's face and mouth. Honestly the blanket doesn't really need anything, it's perfect the way it is.
