Upcycle: Rug into a Backpack ✨Pattern Included 

I love getting into this creative [gift making] mode around the holidays, whether it is crafting cards or making easy (stylish) gifts like this draw-string backpack ....Oh WAIT... it's not only a backpack, it can easily be transformed into a shoulder bag as well. But, the best part about this project is using what you have around the house, you could also upcycle a towel (using interfacing on the back of course). This #upcycledbackpack is something that I can see even kids enjoying - to sew - as well as wearing! This project is definitely not limited to the Christmas gift giving season, but could be made anytime of the year. As long as you have a small mat... you are all set to sew with me!
