Update...Cogswell Interchange Redevelopment Project Part 25 (Halifax, Nova Scotia) In this video, you can see that the last over pass is gone, and you can see the Casino from the new section of Barrington St for the first time.
The progress on the concrete wall with dirt removal is going nicely. it will be interesting to see what Barring Street from Scotia Square will look like once finished.
It looks amazing. Only two walls left. The small one by the Hotel Barrington, which might have to remain in some form for the hotels receiving doors, and the massive one by the Casino. In part 26 you can still see a bit of the base of some columns that still have to be removed. For the first time I could see the treatment plant from the Hotel side. Huge transformation so far.
I was wondering the same thing. I can't see them taking it down without shutting down the road, at least for a couple of days. To do that, they would need something open so the truck traffic can get to Hollis street
@@iworshipgloves The problem with that is, Cogswell meets Upper Water Street, right between the two parking structures. So that wall has to go first. Another option would be to finish Barrington and then have traffic use Bells Lane. That could be a bit tight for the trucks though. The also didn't design any of the Cogswell to Barrington Street intersection. Seems like making that first would have been the right move. Rather then redo that section at a later date.
