@Jazz inc - Joost, Thank you for this tremendous update. Especially the mention of a possible, "Black Beauty" within the shortlist. If JazzInc does build The Black Beauty, I will commit to a procurement, no doubt. I'm sure I'm not alone about being excited for JazzInc regarding 1/6 scale figures. As always, best regards, ~ Benjamin G. a.k.a. HAWK 😎
Come on The Black Beauty!..The original is at Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles designer Dean Jeffries and found by JR Goodman lost for years and restored with Dean Jeffries. Don't mistake the terrible copy by George Barris. 1/6 scale and very very limited 1/4, if possible. Thank you! Joost and company for all your beautiful work and long overdue large scale vehicles.
Some exciting news! Although I'm very happy for JazzInc for getting the official recognition it deserves (congratulations!), I do wish you could make a Goldfinger Aston Martin DB5 in 1/6. Like the '66 Batmobile, there would be a MASSIVE market of Bond fans, 1/6 collectors (plenty of 1/6 Bond figures already out), and general car enthusiasts who would jump on the pre-order. Looking forward to your next releases!!!
Someone in the comments below said there was a vote regarding The Mach 5? I don't do social media, so I am unaware, but that was my comment suggestion from the last update. The Mach 5 is my number 1 choice... and, with your skills, Joost, it would be absolutely amazing! She has so rarely ever been done correctly (too skinny, too long, not curvy enough, etc) in any of the commercial iterations. And, since you're exploring the idea of figures, Speed Racer figures that actually look like Tetsuo Yoshida's art to go with The Mach 5, would be as close to heaven as I'll ever get! That and Mad Max figures from the first film and The Road Warrior and both versions of his Interceptor... Heaven!!
Joost, you don’t know how happy you’ve made me…The 66’ Black Beauty will be my first order. I’ve been hoping you would be doing it. Now let’s hope your figures will include Green Hornet and Kato. Thank you…
Figure news is so exciting. I’d really like a classic BSG Die cast Cylon. If it’s Star Wars I hope it’s figures we haven’t gotten like. death Squad commander. Personally for figures I’m not interested in any sound effects.
Can't wait to see your figures - I'm sure the Jazz Inc attention to detail will make them awesome. 👍🏻 And please dont forget the 1/12 scale 1989 Batwing one day - forever hoping ! 🤞🏻😅
A James Bond gadget Aston Martin DB5 in 1/6 scale would bring the Bond fans on board with the Dell and Star Wars...all those 1/6 scale Bond figures would have a display vehicle. Also, please consider the Speed Racer Mach 5 1960s version.
HELL YEAH Go joost / jazzing crew this is fantastic news . Watching you guys grow the last few years has been very fun to watch. Congrats on all the recent success
Cannot wait on that Star Fighter!!! Future suggestion: 1/6 scale Attack of the Clones starfighter with the hyperspace drive ring. Second: Clone Gunship 1/6 scale!!
Figures, that’s awesome to hear. More affordable in this economy for me than the vehicles. I sure hope we get a Batman returns Catwoman!!! I can’t wait to see the reveals
We need blade runner: Gaff, Deckard to start. Then a sixth scale police Spinner car! Also 1939 Batman sixth scale with huge ears purple gloves and headless bat on chest for 85th anniversary.
OMG😮 CONGRATS....hoping they don't tie to nonsense like studio executives on movies do...off topic any chance for a collection tour your place looks beautiful 😍 😍 🤩
Animated batmobile first and foremost. Just scale the vehicle to 1/6 there's lots of wiggle room. Black beauty for sure is an option. Speeds car the mach 5? How far do you go? You going to do bond's cars? How about the blue's brother's dodge. The Bandit Trans am, big lewboski grand torino. Let's stick with a theme maybe batman and complete
Figures??? I would love you to make an Alejandro (played by Benicio Del Toro) from "Sicario" 1/6 scale figure in full tactical gear with weaponry. That would be amazing! Also, I'm extremely happy with your Falcon Cockpit, it sits pride of place in my media room. Keep up the great work!
Limited Edition means nothing to me. The product has to meet a standard. I’ve never collected 3rd party items in the pass out of respect for the original creators and actors. But Mars Toy has done an amazing job for their price point. Their 66’ Joker is one of the best figures released last year from any company. I’m hear for it and excited to hopefully add figures that meet the next level of accuracy. I just hope this isn’t going to be a repeat of the vehicles where the collectors feel overwhelmed by multiple preorders up at once trying to complete a line.
We get what you mean and we try to take that into account as much as possible, but we can’t always do that. As for limited edition, it may not mean anything, but it has a huge effect on everything we do. Because with low order come high costs per unit which means you can do less (features) for the same price.
Ponder this on figures: limited releases and your top clients get 1st refusal. Also, for top clients do special features to show appreciation for their support and loyalty.
As you are working with WB, are Babylon 5 figures a possibility? I understand B5 isn't one of the main stream franchises, but it does still have a loyal fan base. Limited run figures would suit this series. I'm desperate for Londo & G'Kar especially.
