Thank you so much! I love them. The fragrance is so great. These are Miltoniopsis btw, not Miltonia. No problem for me though, but if you grow them, they do need a different care.

Yes, I call them "water meters". They show the level of water in the reservoir. I cannot live without them LOL.. So handy what this amount of plants! :D

I have a question since you have so many oncidium type orchids. My issue is having the plants get too big for my shelves. I don't have room to have huge 8-10+ inch pot specimins. So how many bulbs is a good amount to cut a large plant back to that won't compromise the blooming very much? 8-10 bulbs in say a 5-6 inch pot? I know the minimum is around 3-4 bulbs but wonder what is a more generous amount you think to keep the plant full and bloom well but kept moderately sized. I especially have zygos that are growing insane for me I just started with zygos last year and two plants had 4-5 bloom cycles in the year and are growing like weeds I love it but they are getting too big and the bloom shows just keep getting bigger but I want to know a happy medium a reference to kinda keep them manageable lol.

First of all, that is a very good question and a good observation too. I found that the more bigger divisions do better from the start. So I think you basically did give the answer to your question, I would go for a few more bulbs if you can. 5 or 6 is very good. And if you grow in organic media I would go for a pot that is slightly bigger, so you have an more easy 'wet-dry-cicle'. If you grow in semi hydro in inorganic, you can go even bigger because the pot size doesn't matter that much because of the system and how it works. Hopes this helps?
