Not only do I talk about my current contract and what it’s like being on call for 8 days straight, but I also share what is going on with the hospital I am working at.
It’s an unfortunate situation for the employees and patients. As a traveler, this news does not affect me as much as my coworkers, but I am unsure what is going to happen for the remainder of my time here.
- Am I going to finish my contract?
- Will I still get paid?
- Do I look for other assignments in the meantime?
I do not know what’s going to happen but I will keep you updated once I do know. This will be my first time experiencing something like this. I used to think that working in healthcare, you will always have a job. However, this is not always the case.
