Great video, thanks for the always valid and motivating suggestions. I also used a contravers with some logic chips to drive an antenna preselector, this mechanical mechanism saved me from using a microcontroller which could produce unwanted QRM. 😊

It certainly makes a difference. Trying to use the spec an TG as a test oscillator was pit of a pain. I'm really happy so far with the sig gen. I can get down to -110dBm with no leakage.
Gidday. I think your referring the two ADF4351 development boards. 35MHz to 4.4GHz freq synths. I've never used them before, so that will be interesting.
Nice to have you back Charlie. Certainly looks like there's some interesting videos to come. A while ago I picked up some, I think they were AD8302's for measuring signal phase but never really got anywhere with them. So I would be very interested to see how you go about building your phase measuring system. M1CEM.
That ADF4351 with the Yellow header has some sort of design problem where the reference clock appears to modulate the internal VFO and the output signal will be full of spurs which are either side of the desired signal at multiples of the clock. Makes it quite unusable especially at frequencies above 2Ghz. I have used another board (designed by a NewZealand guy) that was completely clean of spurs.
Hi there, is it posisable to look at a f band 1 watt rf boundary security radar with a algorithm to identify basic size and distance of object over 50 meter distance along with doplar 360 degree sweeping colliniar array say half a meter square? Would be good alarm to help me deal passivly with some for pukes and possums on my farm. Thanks dude. Andrew Nz
