UPDATE on the GX-CS3 compressor. She still chuggin!

I own 4 Yong Heng Compressors, two GX-CS3 and two Hill. Two Yong Heng have bit the dust, two still run but need work. If I where you I would really consider the GX-CS3 and I have a 80 ci tank, the GX-CS3 can fill it, even from empty but it takes a lot of cycles. It may top one off easier but I use it for direct to gun 99.7 percent of the time. By the way, for the price of 4 yong heng, I could have bought two GX-CS3 or one Hill and had money left over and still have a solid working pump. And since the GX-CS3 is portable well it's something the other 2 aren't. Your choice but I would really think that one over. Thank you for watching. I really like talking to people about anything I post. Last though, the Yong Heng can run circles around most pumps, the thing is reliability.

@smitty B I will tell you this, I have had good luck with it and it's versatile. If I could only have one, this would be my choice.

@@xBLACKxOPSxSECRETSx2 Yes, I tried again just using the "ask a question" button and not the email listed in their bio on Amazon. I heard from them a few hours later. They sent me a new one. Its been working great ever since I got it.

Mine is still working, hasn't been a year yet but I believe I'm sold.

How well is the pump holding up

@@bluecollarsportsman613 Glad you asked! Best purchase ever. No regrets. I have filled and refilled my 13ci tank easily about 25 times or more without a problem. So I'm very pleased with the performance so far. Is yours still holding up well? As a side note, I also recently purchased the Air Ventura MK5 Hill hand pump just to have as a back up if the power goes out. So I'm ready for the apocolypse!

@craig fernandez The Hill is faster but both are good. If I had to only have one it would be the GX-CS3 but only because it's portable.

No issues at all unless it's a large tank, it's still fills it but takes several cycles.

@Robert DeLaRosa I like the Yong Heng, I have owned 1 and 3 knock offs, I still have 3, one is parts only though. If I can only have one, I chose the GX CS3. Otherwise I would have the Hill and the GX CS3. The Yong Heng is more trouble than either of these.

@jackle842000 Your gun should always have air in it. You should never shoot it till it's empty. If the pump is running it would be very hard to connect it to the gun. What I do in most cases but not always is leave the bleed valve open and then close it after the pump starts but I don't think that makes to much of a difference since the pump has to bring the line up to pressure before it starts to fill the gun.

@James Moreau Sorry for the late response. The wires connect to the included inverter if you are using AC or a battery that is not included if you are using DC.

@John M. Washbush Kral and Pyramyd Air say that the cylinder is removable but I have not done it and you would have to carry an allen wrench with you as it has two screws that would need to be removed. As for shots, you will get about 30-35 shots.

I like the Omega as well but it's 30% more than the GX CS3 and I can't justify that so far.

Omega Air Charger is you can find one. The Hill is for 3L or smaller. I have a 3L Tank which is decent size but if you have larger thanks, try the Omega Air Charger.

Did you touch the compressor with the power source?

I bought one back in May last Year, gradually the glass on the pressure gauge started to craze and finally cracked right across, the unit makes crackling and popping sounds while operating, they sent me a replacement but it has the same issue you described, fans come on but the start button does nothing, did you ever find out why?

@@bluecollarsportsman613 my notifications were turned off. I'm so sorry. The compressor never came in contact with power source.

@@iguanasnipersfl I think that power switch is faulty, it sounds like the start switch works but it only sends power to the fans. It' like it isn't getting power to that secondary switch which actually turns on the pump. I have had a few people complain about this and seems that maybe Ankul needs to work on that switch or get a new provider. Just guessing.

@Matt Chat is never had a shoebox so can't compare but I will say this. This compressor is two in one. Very portable and convenient. Way better than hand pumping and if you buy it on Amazon you can get up to a 4 yr warranty. Now that's amazing.

@@bluecollarsportsman613 Ordered! Some of the back and forth (it is not cheap) was fun. Can't seem to find it now, but you also have a video just running off the battery on the floor (aka, extra justification). Her logic then was what if I run the battery down (stuck in the truck). My answer, leave the truck running like normal. Next issue, but you use the grey one (primary compressor for the Shoebox) to fill the tires back up when they go flat (in a corner there since the definition between flat and purposely lowered doesn't seem to much matter and have had to limp out once or twice...or more). Pickup, plenty of room to keep it along for the ride (more an issue of we avoid sharp stuff, just saying). Your videos and the word convenient ending up rolling with her because there is a lot of steps from base compressor through Shoebox and then tank or PCP. Never realized how much the high pressure tanks made her nervous. So technically, my fingers may or may not have been crossed at that point, but the true winning arguments, convenient, easy to operate, portable and then something truly, perfect timing. Shoebox needs to be rebuilt. Her vested interest is a Marauder pistol with brace and basic scope she is wow out to 100 feet with and then a Hatsan Sortie which is one of those probably why not liking Hatsan at all. Fun as heck if...so not even close to reliable, just get everything to line out and a fun plinker. For myself, my kid growing up pump, then .22 break barrel followed by a Benjamin .177 followed by .22. To teach handguns, a revolver and a semi replica with action in .177... Long enough already, but if you have a Hatsan or something you would recommend for her, let me know.

@@mattchat2875 I love Hatsan! I have two and bought my son one. I can't think of just one. I love my Neutron Star and my Puncher Breaker Silent. I'm getting ready to do a very special video for the sub 12 sub 500 people with the Puncher Breaker Silent in .25. .25 cal is not really used in that class so My buddy Mike made a challenge and some of the comments have me really curious as to how good you can actually get a .25 cal to shoot at 40 yds sub 12 lbs and 500 fps or less. Back to the guns, I bought my son a Hatsan Hydra and the cool thing about it is that you can convert it to different calibers simply by changing the barrel. The accuracy on the Puncher Breaker Silent and the Neutron Star has been truly amazing. I won't really speak on my son's Hydra because it's his gun and I have only put a few pellets through it. But again, I love Hatsan! Glad you got your compressor, did you get the warranty?

@ali sadr Sorry I can't. I have never done it myself. I have had it year yet so I haven't put enough hours on it for maintenance yet.

It was mentioned in Amazon that new version (CS3) does not need grease but they put syringe inside. Are you aware if that even require grease anytime?

@@ALIREZATEH Mine is one of the ones they say don't need grease. I did not get the syringe but I do plan on doing the maintenance anyway as I think this may help it last even longer.

Sorry Donny, I try to respond to those that have requests. It seems that a lot of people are curious about this little compressor and continuously ask about it, even in other videos. So, I give them what they ask for. I don't see how it hurts.
