The anti scalp wheels are not meant for the deck to ride on all the time. They do need to be low enough that they touch the ground to prevent your mower deck from dipping too low if you get in a spot that makes your deck pivot.
But if they are to high they need to be adjusted so that the deck dont scalp the lawn? I'm going to do this on my new lawn tractor and mount them in the middle hole because the anti scalp wheels are not doing their job as they should
