You may think its the same boring repetitive stuff, but we watch for your windscreen scenery, tunes, silly cab dancing and poor accents! You have Truckerjosh and Jerry doing the daily blog thing which keeps us amused daily, and yourself and Luke Vernon doing the occasional more polished/edited videos which are a joy to sit back and enjoy in HD with a coffee :) Less is more, just give us one every month or two :) It doesn't need to be new and exciting, its still better than watching TV!

I have watched you Matt since as the wheels turn 1 and all the way through, I did change my name to the new google or a new youtube account. But its not just the trucking that made these videos interesting its you and your personality. SO keep them comming about anything. Truck, bike, life etc. There is more to this then just learning about trucking. We could have watched others just do that but we chose to watch you and your videos and thats for more than just learning about trucking. Keep it up!
I just found you channel I hope you keep doing them. you do a great job, I really liked the auto transport videos. My father in law drove car haulers, but died before I could go with him. please keep doing them.
i got 2 speeding tickets working for kelles transport. since i don't take any breaks, they kept me and put me on probation to keep my speed below the speed limits. now im doing great. gas mileage improved. got complimented on that.
Don't worry about being the next great film maker, just do you being you. You had the first trucker videos I ever watched. Just a camera thrown up once in a while saying, "this is what my day/week/month was like." is cool. And Victory's are just wannabe Harleys, but Harley riders think they are the ONLY REAL bikers. Just enjoy YOUR bike. I own three bikes, and NONE of them are Harleys. It seems every You tube channel is about whatever the creator wants it to be about. We sub 'cause we like it.

There *is* a need to send condolences because we're all humans and we're all on this big blue ball together. You lost someone who was special and very important in your life. You may feel like you're bailing or need to bail. We'll miss you if you do. But if you continue ... we'll love it. :)
I completely understand where your coming from, believe me I do. Perhaps you can come up with a idea that is not "so trucking" related?? Maybe short sketches of some sort. Just keep it YOU BRO!
dont worry about explaining stuff there's a million ppl doing that already, Im still not running out of video footage in fact i have way too much of it, I keep the gopro on the dash plugged in and on and just hit record every time something interesting is happening. i dont get footage every day but for my few times a month uploading schedule its good, every once and a while i get a cool place to deliver to, thats a video, cool freight, that's a video, cool weather or road, thats a video.

Ok... I've just subscribed to your channel, I too, am a driver... well I am supposed to be a driver when I get the opportunity. I'm a grain hauler and most places we deliver to dont allow camera's and some dont even allow the usage of a cell phone. So I understand about the new job and the vlog. It happens.. how do you truckers move your cam around and show ur truck inside out and then be in a shower and still show ur truck inside,while in the shower? ps. what kind of cam would I need to record driving down the road and recording myself for utube videos for my page,,come on truckers,help me out fixing to be a new at trucking,any tips and tricks will be helpful, going with tmc when class is complete,,thanks again..
New subscriber here and have now seen most of your vids and enjoyed them. Not a trucker myself but from age 10 to 17 I rode shotgun with a family friend and spent many miles on the road in different trucks he drove and got to see many places of the USA. Always wanted to drive for a living but I'm 39 now and have a family so its not so easy to take risks, especially living paycheck to paycheck. Keep on trucking and posting vids. Thanks for sharing your time with us that are stuck behind a desk
OK. Here is the deal. And you said it. You have built a relationship with some people. They feel like they know you. You call them your peeps. You said they stuck with you. Don't make it so complicated. Just shoot some video of some different things you see on the road and share it with your peeps. Hell, you had over 7,000 views of you washing your truck. Keep the videos and keep trucking. Your peeps want it.
Id agree with a lot of people here Matt, dont quit on us just yet! Maybe see if your new company, whoever they may be, will let you video and just video for a week or two weeks and do an "As the Wheels Turn" as a weekly or bi-weekly vlog and if you have something interesting that you're hauling or an update then do a video the. Hey man sorry for your loss, I lost both of my grand parents in the last 2 years so I feel ya bro! Thats cool about your victory! I'm 30 as well and a few months ago I bought a suzuki boulevard c50.. I actually already sold her for the money to get my CDL and such but I plan on getting another bike soon. I'm also glad to hear that your doing what you wanna do career wise! Yeah you should do some vids on the bike.. I know a lot of people would like to see it!
I thought your vids were great, i watched while i started on trucks from vans here in the uk and enjoyed watching the scenery of the places you drove. Don't get hung up on youtube and move on to new things in your life. Like me you will be able to remember life BEFORE youtube and theres life after too! That said its people like yourself that make youtube what it is. Hats off t'ya, all the best.
I don't really think you need to worry about creating "how to" videos Matt. It's understandable that you're suffering from vloggers block. You have established a relationship with your followers, and if people really want to see those kinds of videos again, they're available on your channel. If your worried about what to produce, I think most of your followers would enjoy just seeing the world from your eyes, and slapping the camera on your windshield pointing out towards the road ahead.
i have to agree with kman3810 personality is everything. you could be kicking a dried dog turd down the street while you talked about pop tarts and id still watch. i really hope you dont stop making videos. doesnt have to be trucking or motorcycling or anything specific it doesnt have to be instructional or even have a point. your just naturally funny and amusing. i think you get burnt out cause you try too hard and give yourself writers/bloggers block lol Hit record move jaw call it good =D
Matt the videos are top notch and I have learned a lot form them. But most of all I get to see how it really is out on the road. I have always wanted to do OTR but due to my physical limitation I never will be able to, plus I am now getting to old on top of that. I haven't even been in a big rig. I hope you keep them up but if you don't I just want to say thanks. Sorry to hear that your grandma passed.
Thanks Matt for telling us whats been going on and not just leaving. I've always enjoyed your videos but completely understand the burnt out concept. I would like to see you stay and keep making videos. You asked for suggestions. Maybe just share a little more of your day to day now that your home more to include your bike rides and spread the videos out more until you see if the burnt out feeling subsides? Sympathies on the loss of your Grandma. You have my respect.
Video the bike =-) add in some video of the truck when you catch out of the normal things and add in your humor and personality like you have been. I understand where your coming from but I think you should just try things and see how it goes. As for the seen it before thing if you add in your own personality it makes it different not something you can force or set out to capture just have to film some and see what happens. thanks for the videos chin up =-)
we love to watch the senery with you, why don't you do somthing little different like taking the cam into truckstops and other ''stops'' truckers make, don't be shy having a camcorder in your hand and explain the lady behind the bar what you're doing. the point if these video's to see and live with the truckers in theire live's. or do al tittle sight seeing, like when you might go by a marker of route 66... just some ideas
There's a reason you have 7000+ subs with so few videos, and that is that those few videos are GOOD! After all, you're the guy that made the vid about the boring task of washing a truck actually interesting and fun to watch! Obviously you do a lot of editing and that takes a huge chunk of time, so making vids can be a chore, but you don't always have to make a production. Just do gopro timelapses of your travels & drive...trust me, we'll watch it!!! BTW, Awesome poster on your wall!
im in the middle of trying to go to truck driving school and your videos are very helpful your videos are a big help so hopefully you get motivated the same as your videos motivate us. Imma keep going till I get into trucking I didn't have a co-signer and have to go through the wia program and its taking its sweet time but I know that I"ll be better for it! Im praying for you and everyone including myself so you keep trucking because we all are!
Great to hear from you again, I can see it on your face, You been through a lot during the passed few months. Seem like you see feel down about few thing what have been going on and what good and bad changes are now happening. Keep your head high and keep on moving on to better thing. You have worked for two great trucking company and left in good terms with them and now you on to something better. Keep dreaming on what you want to go for and you will get it.
I'm a late comer to these vids but have gone through them all and these are far better than any Discovery Channel rubbish that are always hyped up and acted and over dramatized. If you never make another trucking vid you have at least made some very valuable videos that show down-to-earth reality that any newcomer would find both inspiring and encouraging. Many thanks!

I turned my 20th year driving truck in May and it took me about 5 years to get the job that put me home every night and weekends. Life got way better for me when I made that change. You showed me how trucking can be an Experience every time you get into that drivers seat and start going down the road you showed me how every day is not a dull boring day . One day you could be staring up at the mountains of Vermont or another day can be delivering a load to the sandy beaches of California.

i'm hope ur ok and hope everything works out for ya.. i think u could do well doing a daily v-log maybe u should check some other driver channels. bigrig talk, trucker josh,indiania jack, the list goes on but most of them r company and 2 of them do a daily v-log and with ur personality ppl will watch.. those others have 1000 in the 24hrs u can bet that.. take care

Honestly i like watching the same old shit over and over. I wouldn't be here if i didn't love watching your vids. Don't get burned out though just do what you've been doing but do it on your own time. I'd like to see the new truck you're driving and the new motorcycle as well. It would be a shame if you quit making vids.Just keep doing what you're doing man.
As for video, Show a bit of the new trucking job you have (if you able to show by your company rules) , show your self riding the bike as well what type of bike you have. So we can see how well you know your bike. Keep your self smiling and laughing. You show a lot of entertainment during the months and years. Well go for what best for you.

Like Kman said its your personality that makes the videos.Trucking videos or something else, like cars/trucks and motorcycles, or whatever. You have a big following and loyal subscribers and if they watch because of personality they will watch anything you put up.

It's really not the new content that makes me want to watch your videos, it's a visceral thing. I'm tied to a desk 8 hours a day 5 days a week, and when I watch your videos, it gives me an opportunity to see what you get to see. And you're hilarious.

I like to go around the country vicariously through the truckers eyes since I can't do it myself. Used to drive locally on a part-time basis for a petroleum contractor and for a local grocery chain doing drop n hook..

You need to establish a format. That's what I'm going to do. Eventually. One day. Probably. But that's the plan. Take notes from those podcast junkies. They have a format or a theme. And they always have something to say. In this socially driven, data intensive world there is always something to talk about. Simply formulate your own thing based around your own individually established continuity.

Matt, Why not make motorcycle videos, you have a go pro and or perhaps "a day in the life of vlog" kind of thing. I agee with others here, you are relaxed in front of a camera and have a broadcast voice and tons of personality. Why you don't have your own tv show, is strange. Sorry for your loss. Peace

I'll be going to school in August as well, already have my school picked out probably get signed up in a couple of weeks have to pass my CDL A Permit Exam. I really like Matt's videos and he really did inspire me to go out and hit the road.

Im a big fan of the 18wheels and the 2wheels, would love to see footage of both! Also as per video content, I dont think you should feel any pressure to churn out anything too unique, I dont watch tv, I watch youtube and just posting 5 mins of driving footage would entertain me lots! if you talked or not, both good!
