You should be so proud of your success Alyssa. Time to close up your enclosure now as the cold change is coming through on Thursday. Great to see your partner has patched up the breaks in the plastic. Trap as much warmth as possible. Be good to stop plastic flapping around in the wind. Tighten it around the enclosure if you can but not so much that it breaks by rubbing against the steel structure. The custard apple setting is brilliant. Should ripen in spring. I normally advocate breaking the mango flower panicles off to bring on vegetative/foliage growth but you don’t want that now (exposes the tree to more cold, better to be in a dormant state) so can leave the flower panicle on but remove any fruit that sets but not the panicle stem. The ends of the branches are susceptible to cold so leaving the panicles on helps to protect the foliage underneath. Hope that makes sense. I would definitely remove any avocado seedlings in there. 50/50 re the litchi. They are slow growing like green sapote but they will compete with one another. Leave it there for now. Super stunning’s right for the sapodilla. Don’t worry about the tree not setting fruit. It’s early days in its life so you want all of the energy to go into growth. Overall Alyssa you’ve both done an amazing job. It’s that chempandak that impresses the most though.Real bragging rights there. Be very surprised if anyone else is growing one this well in Melbourne. Keep up the great work.

All the plants looking healthy! That Paxton Prolific has some pretty fruits! Did you hand-pollinate them?
