Finally, someone who dresses appropriately with some sense. She knows her stuff and looks amazing!! Skincare next please b/c yours is gorgeous! Thank you!
Hi sis I had a pair of moshinos sneakers,I wash them ,and sole came off .lol 596dollars ,I did buy them from the salvation army 🪖 so really didn't too mad.
One thing I've learned in these last two most traumatic years is to be, love and embrace me. As a visual artist - in my 69th year - I've always been fashion conscious, but now on a different level. I dress for expressionism, which is my art style. Trends are just that - trends, and I've found that I lose me once I start following them. I love color - bold splashes of color that resonates my art. Not for everyone; and definitely not for the faint of heart - I live in wearable art. So, I don't care about trends anymore ... life has become far to fragile and short in the last few years, and it's more important (for me) to make ME smile; to feel good in what I do and what I wear - or not - doing it. Please, please don't think this is any disrespect for you or your video. I love watching them, but this just spoke to me a bit differently. So, well ... I'm keeping my cold shoulders lol ... Peace, Dear Sister.
Thanks for sharing about your own fashion preferences. I am also in my 69th year, so l have also let some trends go, because l have said it’s not for me. I’m a retired art educator who love color also.
No cold shoulder tops,✔ Keep the inner glow,✔ One shoulder or sleeveless tops,✔ No paper bag tops,✔ Go for the pull over tunic or button down shirt(tailored),✔ Love u Sis
I love your style and confidence! After suffering several years of domestic abuse I found my confidence and left my abusive husband. You are such an inspiration!❤❤❤
Angela, your video is giving me the inspiration to finally clean out my closets. One thing though ...I just bought 2 cold shoulder tops that I've got to wear before I rid myself of them!🤣 You had me cracking up with this video because I have a lot of the items you said to boot, lol! Seriously though, thank you for all of the fabulous fashion tips Sis.🖤
@ A M.. IKR.. .me too.. I;m like, huh... no.. those aren't going anywhere any time soon! lol Also the peep toe shoes... they are still selling those. pointed toe pumps are not good for the feet. But I love her style and sense of humor about it all.
Hi Angela, would you please do a Spring dress haul? If so, please try to include as many dresses as possible from a variety of websites. Thanks so much!
Girl i thought i was alone in this fight😂😂😂thatsca battle i leave well enough alone.bc my husband loves his creases.his jeans can stand without him being in them🤷🏾♀️
I think one can be very stylish as they choose I love to keep things you can put your own touch to it !!! I am not talking about old ugly no style clothes ! I love consignment and boutiques with very classy and well made clothes! I love jewelry and vintage style looks ! Fashion is what you make it!!
I rotate Spring/Summer with Fall/Winter seasons. As I get older, and as a former "clothes horse" I just want LESS, and more staple pieces. Great video ✌🏾😉💃🏾
Creased jeans always got on my nerve, I grew up in Oklahoma and everyone had jeans that could stand up in their own. Lol I have been thinning my wardrobe for a few months now. I love your tips. Your skin and makeup look amazing.
I just wore my floral cold shoulder top to church. lol! I did the starched Levi's 501's. Looking for them again., I just won't starch them.😄 The red shirt! LOL! Thank you, that was informative and lots of fun!
You are precious! Thank you for guiding us over 60 to look more trendy- and especially your tips for how to slip things out of your husbands closet while he is at work. I will subscribe for more tips!
Hi Angela and husband. I do love your tips and enlightening about various styles. Your comments with your husband brings a smile to my face. Brava to you both.
Actually the cold shoulder tops are very much in style. You will know what's in fashion with the actual manufactures who typically design based on fashion trends at hand. As always fashionable is what your confidence suggest it is.
OMG, sis where have you been? I love your video. Can you do an elevated work from home video, return to the office outfits and outfits for places you go everyday like yhe grocery store, coffee shop, kids school, meet girlfriends, lunch etc? Keep up the great work.
Just stumble on this but thanks Angela for the suggestions/guidance. Realistically it’s not always possible to be trendy but I do agree with you that you have to engage in an elimination process every now and again and it doesn’t have to be a clean sweep all at once. Thanks for your guidance
Honey I needed this! I've been working remotely for the past three years (one year) before Covid so I was doing far less shopping but the Covid shut down really took it's toll. My clothes are so out of style! I'm donating half of my closet after watching this! 🤦🏽♀️
Oh Angela!!My husband still irons his jeans! I have tried and tried to get him to stop by telling him how outdated it is. And yes, he is between 50 - 60...closer to 60. After 17 years, I've given up 😒 But I will continue to update my wardrobe 🤩 Thank you and great video as always!
Hi Angela!!! I never liked the cold shoulder look. I agree with every item you chose. Great content, thanks for the tips. You keep us fresh and fly. Production better take his red shirt to work with him or it will end up in the dust cloth pile😩.
My Girl!! Production, Angela is getting in that closet. That Red Shirt ! Angela my brother in law has those creased jeans. My husband wears Lucky and Levi's jeans. Love you Angela!
These were such great tips. I have to toss a cold shoulder blouse and Ive known it’s outdated for awhile..Lol..Also, your skin is glowing Angela. What are you using on your neck and chest area? You look incredible and “the girls” are sitting great
@@AngelaMashelle may I ask what under garment do you wear with your one shoulder tops. I am a well endowed woman up top and I need help. You always look so nice in your tops and I love your channel.❤️
I love the interaction with you and your husband!! Darn girl I don’t want to get rid of my three pairs of peep toe shoes. Even though I can’t walk in them and fall every time I wear them I still haven’t wanted to get them out of my closet but now I will. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks for getting me started on my closet, because it is way pass due, and definitely needs thinning out! I enjoy your videos an I share them, because of my past relationship with you, I respect your honesty! Today my closet will get an overhaul! 😂😘♥️🙏🏽
Very helpful and informative especially as I am from and live in the Caribbean. I would appreciate a work style wardrobe and church. Yes, church apparel for First Ladies. Love you Angela - so classy and sophisticated. Stay blessed. 🤗
Enjoyed the video; I will get rid of the cold-shoulder. I do have printed tunic with trim, but they are newish and can't afford to switch out. I wear them with leggings. Just had a big birthday and I do believe you have given good tips. I'll wear my tunic blouses more. I like your style. Funny interaction with hubby👍! Thank you!
I'm keeping my cold shoulder tops get a couple of one shoulder and off shoulder tops and rock every last one of them I'm not getting rid of anything I love I'm wearing it all and don't care about what's in style or what anyone else has to say! I'm just saying I do me! 🙌
Absolutely love your banter with Production about getting rid of his outdated items! OH and girl, I'm with you on that red so-called shirt. Whaaaaaat??? You two are so blessed to have each other❣️ I'm new to your channel and just loving it
LOLOL 😃😃😃😂😂😂😂😂😂 😂😂😂😂 TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE DAD SANDALS!!!!! WELL SURPRISE U DIDN'T HAVE THE COLOR FULL CHECKER SHORTS!!! MY DAD WHEN HE WAS ALIVE DIDN'T WANT US NEAR HIS SHORTS...!!! LIKE HE HAD THEM IN ALL KIND OF COLORS...!! LOL LOL LOL IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!
I am so happy I found RU-vid Channel. This is actually the second video of you I watched . You are amazing. God bless you, both of you. Going through this phase „I cant take some things any more, something has to change“.You are an inspiration . Thank you for being so authentic.
When you described a structured button down, statement classy necklace, cigarette pants and pointy shoes, you just described my favorite Spring/ Summer "uniform", Angela. I buy the pants in Ann Taylor (curvy in petite, regular and tall... I am a black and Hispanic woman, and although I am size 6, I need well cut pants with room for my booty and cut for my very small waist), and I buy the fabulous fitted non-iron shirts in Brooks Brothers (women). I wear my turquoise chunky necklace with those red pants and stark white shirt and I am good to go!
Good looking out for us women 40 plus. Because, everything seems to focus on women in their teens to early thirties or less. So thanks for focusing on those of us that are not in the first lag of life anymore.
Very informative and refreshing. Angela Mashelle put it right on the line. With a great sense of humor. Love it subscribed will be watching in the future. You are like jasmine in the air on a summer day. Keep up the marvelous work. Thank you
UNDERWEAR: I throw away my husband's holey socks and underwear. I even resorted to buying a six pack of his favorite socks. I keep them in MY closet. So when I see holes in his Hanes socks, I just swap them out now. Warren G: brand new socks and drawers
Where have you been all my RU-vid video viewing life?! 😂 LOVE your style, suggestions and SENSE OF HUMOR! Thanks for these fantastic tips! New subscriber. 💖💫
New subbie here. I can't believe I'm just now discovering your channel. I love your style and your insightful fashion advice. I just turned 40 and I'm really trying to look more pulled together.
Enjoyed the husband side of the closet clear out and exchange between you and Ben. I agree with you on the peep-toe shoe. Never bought a cold shoulder top. They looked nice on others.
Just discovered your channel! I’m enjoying it! Great recommendations indeed. Love your style, it’s a lot like mine. I think we’re probably close in age. I like to look stylish at my age, but I don’t want to look ridiculous with some of those “too young” styles. Just want to have a flattering look!! Thank you for bringing these beautiful looks, you have a great personality too!!😊
You make me smile especially about the seam in jeans.i will, start to put away my winter stuff and get rid of out dated clothes.it was a pleasure listening to you.
Thank you brown Beauty!! Lol you just be keeping it real!! I'm always throwing my husband clothes away! Lol 🤣 he's like where are my sneakers?! I'm like idk 🤷🏾♀️ which ones?! Lol you're so beautiful!!!
Get it gurl!! tell him lmbo!!! right one stripe jeans.. thank God he out grew them.. Mines wears Black House/ White Market and cargo Levi's since they were gifts from the grands. Y'all are too funny...🤣🤣 I'm weak and on the floor...
Greetings from London. You look so fresh. Funny when you made faces at your husband 😂 Really enjoyed this. My wardrobe is very outdated. Love the updated options. You start feeling emotional when you have to get rid of lots and think about how much was spent on the items, so less is best 💕
I love this... I love the interaction, it reminds me of me and my husband. We both had to laugh because you'll sound like us. Thank you for the advice and the humor.
I love your dress! You look beautiful! I laugh when I see jeans with an ironed in crease, too. My big brothers are in their early - mid 50s and I can remember my mom ironing the bejesus out of their flared jeans. I found them in a box in their old bedrooms in the early - mid 1990s and drug them out. They were on point at the time thanks to a bit of a 70s revival. I wore them out and one of my guy friends yelled, “where did you get those sweet Lynyrd Skynyrd jeans with the iron on crease?” 🤣 My guys wouldn’t be caught dead in them but it was a blast of nostalgia.
Thank you for the fashion sense. I'm retired. So clothing and its updates is do I need to buy more clothes when I can save my money and where what I have. If I was still working I would consider to buy clothes. Also, with my increasing hobby, money is needed else where. But for those individuals who still work and go out. Yes, good advise.
