@@baseballwithlogan thanks! Yeah we basically went down a path of buying and testing everything just by ourselves because there’s almost no information about drop 10’s and even drop 8’s to some extent. Then one day Lukas said “we should just post all this to RU-vid” and the rest is history haha. Thanks for watching!
Great video. Have to be honest, my son loves the warstic. I feel it's one of if not the best feeling bats in the hand. Great balance. Great swing on the kid!
@@mweeks8757 yup it’s one of our go-to bats when we’re seeing higher velocity pitching. Very easy to swing and still maintains great pop even while being one of the lightest swinging bats available. Thanks we appreciate it!
Great video as always. Love the comparisons. My son just turned 8 and we ended up finding last years Icon brand new about a month ago and picked it up. He loves it. Also picked up the Pocket Radar to start tracking Exit Velo just for baseline & progress. I will say, the USSSA Icon was 2mph faster than his 1pc Bonesaber USA bat. I believe you were correct when you said composite bats won't make a ton of difference until they reach 9-10 years old with some pop.
@@sonnick thank you we appreciate it! Yeah depending on the kid you will really start seeing the difference around 9-10. The top end kids maybe slightly sooner. Lukas was 8 last year and we started to see the difference but it was small. It will grow more and more the more pitching velocity they see and the stronger they get. The icon is definitely the most game ready drop 10 out of the wrapper though. As your boy gets stronger he will start seeing a difference! It’s fun to see that exit velo go up a steadily over time as they put the work in!
@@jagoramuh4173 thank you we definitely appreciate that! And yes we are going to try and get our hands on some USA bats! Sadly we don’t play anything that actually uses USA (for some reason little league is basically non existent where we live) but we have been curious on testing some out and doing a USSSA vs USA comparison!
@@cajunredneck3576 I think that’s just in the very first part where I’m talking about the website. I accidentally had the mic turned down. I believe the rest should have correct audio. Sorry about that!
@@PerformanceFactoryBaseball you are correct I fast forward to the bats and can head up loud and clear. Thx for the content… in the process of buying a new bat… looking for a drop 8 but saw u were able to try out the new Meta Prime. Curious to see how it compares… not a lot of content on the LS Meta Prime yet.
@@cajunredneck3576 definitely hot but a pretty heavy swing weight. If your son is really big or has good power it could definitely be a good option. But I’d beware it’s definitely heavy swinging. One of the highest exit velo’s we have tracked though
How are you doing a showdown with no actual data metrics measured? No Average Velo for each bat, and no average distance. So this showdown is simply based on the feel of one player with no actual data? That's not how you test things...
Parents. 1. Hitters can hit, no matter the bat 2. Dont over spend in the -10 space especially 3. 99% of bats are 1 season bats. Get pre owned like he says here Any 5150, CAT, Omaha, Velo, Solo, S3, XL3...all great bats! 4. If he cant hit, its not the bat 5. Hittting live is not directly proportional to $ spent Keep the secondary market/budget bat reviews coming. That is where parents need to be.
