Just finished Esti school. Gotta say, it was pretty discouraging to go through school and not feel like we actually learned a whole lot. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to do specialized trainings in the near future.
I felt the exact same way when I graduated from nail tech school. I realized it’s a lot of me figuring things out myself…relearning everything….again. I learned from my classmates and social media more than school. It’s sad. And as a former educator myself for over a decade I’m a firm believer that everyone deserves quality education no matter what the field of study is. I’m so envious of you that you went to esthetician school. Congrats on finishing school first of all, that is HUGE. Don’t be discouraged. You are going to do GREAT ♥️

Can you please do a video on products one would need and should stock up on? as a new esthetician what products do you need when starting out fresh and a new salon other than spoolies, gloves spatulas? Hey Kristen I’ve had my mothers steamer mag lamp from 20 years ago and it’s CSC It’s in perfect condition and doesn’t leak or anything and the original light still works. I use it for about 20 facials a week right now and I think it’s a good brand I have one like your in the background but it’s got more attachments, but it’s from Skin Act. It’s good,
Loved that I came across your channel I graduated from beauty school beginning of last year however became licensed in October I feel like I’ve lost some of the knowledge I gained while in beauty school. Hoping to start doing different services but not sure on what equipment I need to purchase for my spa room. Your videos are very informative 😊!
Do you unplug your sign at the end of the day? I was having that problem too until I started unplugging end of day and just replug when in the studio and it’s been working 👍🏽
I may be over complicating things but I am curious. SO Im an esthy of 2 years. Slowly starting my own thing on the side & wondering should i get a business email or just create a regular gmail for all my business related things. Orders , Booking site etc ?
