The First Descendant is a free third-person cooperative action RPG shooter featuring high-quality graphics. I dont understand the visual for the bossing build. why do you have concentration prioerity slotted in the image if its only 20%... do i follow the % list on the left or the image on the right

@@yangpaan453the image is the build being recommended. The % list is in case you don't like the image and would like to change something in the build.

@@yuvonthur2871 still dont understand, a lot of the stuff in the image is way at the bottom of the priority list, like recycling genius which is in the recommended build is literally the last one at 12%

@@yangpaan453 Looking at the mobbing build was throwing me off too. If you take the list on the left and consider all the mod categories, for example "ATK" and "Special Mod" there are 10 mods on the list in those categories, but you can only have one of each. So once you pick one of each category and the ones that don't have a category restriction, you have picked 8 mods out of the list. Again, using the mobbing build from the video as an example, he has Weak Point Sight and Fire Rate Concentration in the core build but not in the list. Adding those two mods gets you 10 total to fill the build. TLDR, most the list on the left are options for ATK and Special based on availability and preference. This compared with whats in the core build can be confusing but once you factor the categories it makes more sense. Hope this helps.

@@RebirthOfHades You can play this gun on any character, its that good. But it shines on fire characters obviously. Because Ajax is such a tank and crowd control monster, he can utilize LMGs like the Enduring Legacy the best, because he can stand his ground and not care to get hit a few times whilst firing.

Dont know how i feel about this....had 600k dps on my thundercage, i know the numbers are not exactly correct but after applying eveything from the mobbing setup it went down to around 350k. Took it out and gave it a go, things still go boom but. I am seeing less orange crit hits compared to the way i had it.

Can you explain why 10 days ago in the Crit SMG video you listed Weak Point as the highest priority for the same gun and now it is the lowest priority? So much so that you do not include any weak point mods in the build at all. Yet we are still including RLF which requires weak point tunneling above all else. You have consistently touted Have Aiming as one of the best mods in the game yet it is nowhere to be found on a build whose entire purpose is to hit weak points to the exclusion of everything else.

My latest calculations assume 30% accuracy of hitting a weak point. If you can manage to hit a Weak Point 80%+ of the time then Weak Point gains a higher weighting in this case, though closing in on 100% accuracy of hitting weak points is a bit unrealistic for your average player

@@DrybearGamers 30% accuracy on hitting weak points means RLF is a completely dead mod. Edit 7 hours later: Just to be clear for anyone reading this in the future, he is assuming full uptime on a mod that requires hitting weak points ONLY and then choosing additional mods based on a 30% weak point accuracy. So in reality, by his own estimations, this gun does about 40ish % less damage than the listed number because you are averaging less than 1 stack of RLF yet it is accounting for 100% extra Firearm attack. Furthermore, if you aren't a complete potato and do hit your weak points at a consistent rate, then this setup is the last thing you would want to run as there is no weak point damage anywhere to be found. If you don't believe me, look at his spreadsheet, it's all there.

I don't comment this to be a naysayer - I really appreciate that you spend time testing things and provide insight to the community. That being said, this video needs to be edited so that you're providing accurate information, and you might want to go back into the lab and do your testing WITH a hit/miss pattern like I described above if you intend to continue evaluating the value of weak point mods @ 30% of theoretical max.

i only have a half built up bunny and thundercage, but was unsure as to what i wanted to put other matts into maxing out. that being i guess more over for bossing and i know I've heard some say that you can complete the entire game with just thundercage but I'm wondering how far it is off from even the most lowly of guns. i barely managed to farm up one python, so even looking at some builds I'm not sure if i could manage to get more of them to lessen the recoil or if that is even where i should be going. i have only used tamer on Freya for any toxic sensitive boss and for the larger clip on ult. i still haven't gotten around to trying the willpower or whatever it is, as i recall most have said it should be better for the double crit chance that tamer has. tamers damage feels fairly good as a base, don't entirely like the move speed slow but that I'm assuming is just something of that class/type of weapon. I'm working on farming that last piece of ultimate Gley, so perhaps if i was going to use that i could assume that i would be all but required to all in the vestigial organ in most cases. still very unsure of it all tbh.

Only 2 crit mods for the boss build? Really? Why is crit rate such a low prio stat? I know it doesn't have huge amounts of base crit rate, but even so, you can get it to over 38% with the rolled stats + mods.

Since Critical Strike Chance is multiplicative you end up needing to spend a LOT of mod slots to raise it even a little. Any weapon that fires fast will typically benefit from more damage scaling rather than trying to supercharge crit chance.

You can certainly add Recoil, Accuracy, or Movespeed for "feel" depending on how you want the weapon to respond. That's why the module weighting is there which helps you decide what mods to swap in & out

Putting RLF on thunder cage... Jesus, now look at your crosshair. Good luck hitting weak spots constantly. Such a terrible build. I srsly cant understand people who putting RLF and have aiming on TC. "Yes, my crosshair is bigger than mob model, yes, not all my bullets will even hit them, but when they rarely hit weak spots, oh boy, look at those numbers!"

You need to use Catalysts to reduce the cost of each slot in order to have all mods maxed out

@@DG-2323 Solidfps has a thundercage build that can be used to beat every hard boss solo up until obstructer. It's a great weapon to have invest into for farming and bossing. Most of these videos just try to bait with high dps

Reload focus is such a waste of a mod when the gun with -30% reload and plus crit has 1.4 second reload anyway and reload canceling exists sooo

Reload canceling technically doesn't make it much faster. You can only reload cancel when the animation for rolling exceeds the actual reload. So realistically it takes the same amount of not more time if you don't perfectly hit the roll

Am I missing something? Real life fighter loses two stacks if you miss a weak point. Even if you hit 2/3 of your shots you just "break even" with stacks, right?
