As a Sheffield United fan anywhere in the top 6 is fair for us, we have had a brilliant start but 2 hard games coming next could drop us down a bit and halt our momentum. It's still early days, so I don't want to get overconfident yet 😂
As a Sunderland fan, before the season started I’d have bit your hand off for 6th. As we’re currently top, I’d probably feel a little disappointed with 6th tbh. However, to finish top two would be an achievement!
Considering where we were last year, top 6 would be incredible, especially with a foreign coach having his first stint in English football. I agree though, as we continue to go well expectations naturally rise and play offs may seem disappointing, but important to keep perspective! Long way to go. I’d take 3rd-6th now but genuinely believe we can push top 2
Derby away games so far; Sunderland, Sheffield United, Watford, Blackburn. 1st, 2nd, 6th and 8th. We have been decent in each of the those games away. Flaccid attack at times. But, that is due to the quality of the opposition. Once we start playing teams below us away, we should start to pick up points. Unless we get crushed by injuries, we should finish mid to low mid table.
Blind faith in Leeds though they let points escape, if they were mentally strong I would say yes but for me mental factor counts so much (especially in the championship where teams go pass by one another all the time....)
Blimey, didn't think you'd have us moved up two places Ben, lad when I clicked to see the revisions But I suppose when you look at the numbers you can't disagree though .. matter of when we start taking our chances. I hope you're right and it starts sooner than later .. Latte Lath looking a very frustrated figure at the moment!
Putting oxford in 22nd because they can’t rely on home form but then putting Derby in 20th because of their home form doesn’t make sense especially considering Derby haven’t picked a single point up away from home
we have played 1st, 2nd, 6th and 8th away this season so far; oxford have played 24th, 21st, 20th, 16th and 8th and claimed 2 points. Our away games have been significantly more difficult than most teams so far.
As an Ipswich fan who works in Norwich, listening to the fans in the office it sounds positive for your lot. All the season ticket holders have said the thing they are really happy about is they are being entertained again
Things ain't working out for Rangers at the moment. However, as always, the Jan Transfer window will rescue our season. I'm hearing there are already bits and bobs going on behind the scenes.
If Argyle can find consistency we are going to be a real problem for a lot of teams! I don't believe Sunderland are anything like good enough to remain in the top four, Leeds will come good in the second half of the season, Blackburn are going to struggle and Pompey will be relegated and that makes me unhappy because I want them to stay up!
Missing 4 first team players Leeds made Sunderland look average when they were at home. Leeds have had the hardest (from the table) start of any team AND play Sheffield United next. Second half of the season will be smooth sailing especially if our injuries return. If not for a Meslier mistake we would be topish now.
I think you’ve underestimated Norwich, Swansea, Blackburn & Derby in particular and over estimated Coventry, Hull, Millwall & QPR My 1-24 here, thought I’d compare to you and call out teams I’ve placed 4+ higher than you (in CAPITALS) and those 4- lower than you (mIxEd CaSe) 1. Sheffield U (2) 2. Leeds (1) 3. NORWICH (7) 4. West Prom (5) 5. Burnley (3) 6. Sunderland (6) 7. Middlesbrough (4) 8. Sheffield W (10) 9. SWANSEA (14) 10. Watford (12) * 11. Luton (11) * 12. BLACKBURN (16) 13. cOvEnTrY (8) 14. hUlL(9) 15. DERBY (20) 16. Bristol C (13) 17. Preston (19) 18. Stoke (18) 19. Plymouth (21) 20. Oxford (22) 21. mIlWaLl (15) 22. qPr (17) 23. Portsmouth (24) 24. Cardiff (23) NB * I’m a Watford fan so us finishing above Luton is the main thing for me 🙏🏼
OI, Bloom. Is all you care about chasing the Yankee data? Let me show you something I always keep with me. Just a little book, Collective Meditations, and it's a collection of philosophers, writers, thinkers, native American wisdom, which I, and it's really showing you that, er, the spiritual side needs as much care and attention as the XG side.
@@crispybits3765did you not watch an injury ravaged and complete new midfield Leeds run Sunderland around the park and then because of a goal keeper brain explosion, got a draw in Sunderland’s back yard? And Sunderland are better? Haha ok mate
@@crispybits3765 They really don't leeds depleted team far superior to sunderland on friday away from home as well, west brom average, sheff united have done well
