Ive been using armamentarium instead of hoarfrost z. It's basically the same thing with glacier grenades except having the extra crystals from range. I find it easier than needing to run into the middle of enemies to then cast your barricade
I've also been using Armamentium, but also Whisper of Fissures, Whisper of Shards and Whisper of Conduction, for massive grenade recharge boosts. It's basically non-stop chucking, lol! Whisper of Chains keeps me alive. Using just melees or Verglas Curve to break the shards constantly, and it doesn't seem to matter if there's enemies nearby.
I also have a hoar frost and salva's grip build it is too fun but the only complaint is that it makes too many stasis crystal and my friends complain about it
@FlyyKaRizZmA the issue nowadays is all anyone ever cares about is damage. Salvations Grip is a utility exotic. It's crystals and room control on demand and if you build into shatter damage it can do decent DPS, can provide a 40% damage reduction to you, and provide an easy way to get health, overshields and melee energy while killing enemies.
Something I've been using in my Behemoth loadouts is an Appetence with Demo+Wellspring. Every single kill with it can net me a total of 18% Grenade ability energy, with an enhanced version giving me 20% per kill. Haven't gotten an Enhanced version yet, however thus far it's been a very potent add-powered grenade farm. Even been using Armamentarium so I can really make the most of that grenade energy return to get a lot of grenades, with Whisper of Shards and a 100 Discipline stat to help cover for moments where I can't kill anything yet. Been a hot minute since I ran Hoarfrost + Refractions; but man, I love that combination. Been my go-to for years. Behemoth in general's my favorite, no one can convince me to play anything else. But if there is one complaint I do have, Stasis isn't resilient like Strand, Solar, and Void are. The best bet a Stasis Titan has to surviving encounters is hunkering behind ice cubes and either chipping enemy health with a long-ranged weapon or blowing it up so fast that enemies have no time to meaningfully hurt you. Though, for real, the ice cubes are STURDY. In my opinion, they can take more abuse than a Titan Barricade. It's like trying to shoot a glacier with a Glock in the vain attempt to make it bleed. Makes Hoarfrost an excellent defense exotic for Behemoth! Glad you're giving the coolest Titan in D2 another whirl. Get it, coolest? Cool? Like ice?
I’ve been tinkering for the last week with Behemoth. I like some of your ideas here. Would it benefit to swap Hoarfrost out for Cadmus? With your focus on grenades, would it make sense to add power to the lances for more ranged control/damage? You do lose on some defensive freezes though.
Very good thought! Wouldn’t be bad, but I prefer my barricade having that advanced effect and still getting use out of the other lances. Not a bad idea to use with the Verglass Curve!
People are definitely sleep on the Icefall mantle build especially if you got your stasis subclass built correctly with the right aspects, fragments and mods
Epic build, epic video, epic person. I may mix this with the artifact mods for strand this season because they're so strong together and create some amazing crowd control. The new strand trace rifle, Incisor, works wonderfully with the topmost tier 4 and 5 artifact mods to make a blender of a weapon.
If you're running grenade kick-start and full 100 discipline salvations grip is just not worth it it does not do enough damage and with both 100 discipline and full grenade kickstart you'll still make plenty of crystals. Hoarfrost id debate also isn't worth it so I'd suggest using a high DMG heavy and a gear exotic you're more comfortable with.
You can also do Vex incursion on Neptune the day of exotic chest armor drops rather than lost sectors. I find that solo lost sectors you are more probable to get exotics only if you complete the sector on master and flawlessly. Vex incursion is a public even and usually has 4+ people participating and you're guaranteed an exotic drop.
