The Suica app for iphone does not offer an english version. It will not accept my foreign name, cell phone number or zip code. I recently watched a RU-vid video that demonstrated how to buy a Suica card at a train station in Tokyo and the ticket machine had english (and other language) options. So, I think I need to wait until I am in Tokyo to buy the card.
1. APP, it doesn't work for people living outside of Japan. 2. on iPhone , I am in us. will visit Japan next week. I have tried setup on my iPhone. can't finish because i can't transfer money from apple cash. any way to make it work?
Can I install the Suica app to my Android phone (Samsung)? Or no way, only possible for iphone please? I could not locate this Suica app in Android Playstore 😢
Go to wallet & apple pay on your old iphone and remove or delete your suica card then using your new iphone device, again, go to wallet & apple pay and add suica and the data from your old device will automatically update to the new one. Hope that helps😉
It might be easier to just buy a Suica card at the station, as during this regristration I can't enter a zip code or anything, so I don't think I can get one.
@@battenburg6089But the app is easier because you dont have to find charging terminals in the train stations since you can charge it anytime anywhere online,
Because non-Japanese phone does not equip with necessary hardware for this task. You either have to get an iPhone 8 or up (any region is OK, just make sure to get your region to Japan in the settings), or get an Android phone **from Japan** in order to use the service.
I don’t know why people weren’t able to follow simple instructions. I have an American phone number and the app worked for me. I used it throughout my whole stay in Tokyo! Thank you so much for this video!
