hey colleen! i’m a type 1 diabetic and i would recommend poking the sides of your middle and ring finger because it hurts much less, and the index and pinkie finger are much more sensitive. although it may not hurt to me because i’ve had diabetes for 8 and half years. but also, i have the same glucose meter as you, i thought that was cool. lol.
Another type 1 diabetic (also 8 and a half years lol) the ring finger and middle finger were the only ones I used for years before I switched the libres. Definitely recommend the ring and middle finger too!
You guys are so strong!! I’m sorry that happened to you, wishing you so the best in other areas of life! A restricted diet would literally be a night matter for me bc I’m so picky about foods and I know Colleen feels similar while pregnant!!
@@elliotfisher7856 Most people with type one diabetes are born with a gene that eventually develops into T1 diabetes. Most people are diagnosed around 10-14 years old, but you can be diagnosed whenever. Type 1 is also the form of diabetes that you can’t get rid of.
@@elliotfisher7856 you can be born with it, but i was diagnosed when i was 7. but i do know some people who were born with it or got it at a very young age.

You are so cute! I deal with chronic illness and while it is very different from being pregnant, I appreciate how real you are about the struggle of dealing with medical things. Also, I am a twin and I am totally looking forward to meeting your babies! I appreciate your outlook on it and I know you’re going to do a fabulous job having 3 kiddos in the house. My twin and I both have very distinct identities, but with my twin and my older sibling we know that no matter what, we’ll always have each other’s backs. Flynn is going to be a great brother, I can already see it. From the stories I heard about my childhood I sometimes have no idea how my parents did it, so I know there will be challenges but you will get through it and your family will thrive. Sharing my love and hope as you get through this, very excited to see what’s next!

I still can't wrap my head around how she's going to give birth next month. I mean I know this pregnancy has been hell on earth for her, like she even had to deal with gestational diabetes and say goodbye to good food which was one of her main source of happiness, but she did it yall. She's still doing it. Colleen u are literally superwoman and we are all in awe of you.
Twins or more is unpredictable and most of the time don't come before 37-39 weeks. However, sometimes they can possibly be overdue believe it or not. I even followed two women's twin pregnancy journeys and they both somehow made it to 40 weeks with them. Like.. idk. But I feel in this case with Colleen, they won't make it to next month or probably even Thanksgiving, but of course we'll see. I mean, she updates and posts daily after all which she doesn't have to do and just focus on the babies but she also cares about us as all of the close uncles and aunts so yea!

Colleen!!!! i HIGHLY recommend having a calendar somewhere up where you will definitely see it every day with your due date MARKED and in the open in your face. I have ADHD and I struggle with the permanence of my negative emotions as well. And KNOWING it will be over soon and SEEING how the days are passing and crossing off days might be like a mental advent to get ready for the babies! Also, you can write “CAN EAT SUGAR AGAIN!” on all the days after you give birth! 🤣❤️🙏🏻

I’m not exactly a og but this reminded me of when I first started watching Colleen. The first video I ever watched from Colleen was her pregnancy morning routine when she was pregnant with Flynn. It is so crazy and beautiful seeing her family grow!

I don’t know how you do that. I’m fighting both ears inflammation (with a lot of pain) and i didn’t sleep well since Tuesday (its Thursday). I spent my whole Wednesday crying and THursday too until the good-doctor-appointment, that actually gave me good medicine. I am exhausted and frustrated, I still got way more sleep then you do, it lasts since 2 days, i have no kids to take care of, my husband is taking care for me, and yet i feel terrible. I really don’t know where do you take your strength, you look beautiful in each vlog, I am just amazed. You rock Colleen!

I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant with my first baby. These videos, and your first pregnancy ones, make me feel so much less alone while having a really tough pregnancy (I’m pretty much sick or in pain 95% of the time) because every other person I see who’s pregnant on social media makes it look like sunshine and roses to the point where I feel like I’m the problem, I’m just weak. . All to say: THANK YOU for keeping it real, showing the parts no one shows, talking about it in real terms. It’s f***king hard being pregnant for some people and I feel so so so much more capable knowing it’s not just me. I’m not alone 💖 . Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy!! You’re an amazing mama 😍
Just a quick tip, Colleen. You should be pricking your finger on the side of your finger, instead of the tip. You are taking blood from an area with a lot of nerves. It hurts a lot less to take it from the side

Me currently at 5 months pregnant with our baby girl: I work remotely and stay in pajamas all day. Unless, I have a doctor’s appointment to go to or have errands to run with my hubby. I couldn’t relate with you more, Colleen! I literally don’t fall asleep sometimes until 1am-ish. 🙃😊❤️

Watching this again and realizing just how sad she looked here. She talked a lot about the depression she was going through during her pregnancy on her vlog channel and man I feel like you can see it in her eyes how much she was going through it. I’m so happy how far she’s come and how much happier she seems now that she touring and she has her cute kiddos. Its so heart warming and shows how strong woman she is to have gone through this and is still pushing

hey colleen this is just to say thank you for your videos because even in the hardest times for me like when my brother sadly had to go away to a mental hospital you were the only thing that was so comforting to me because my parents were both trying to figure out my brother which was really hard and also when he had a suicidal attempt
