I think it's a hoot that everybody declined her invitation b/c they were mad at her b/c her parents, while really hating on OP also b/c of their parents. And in the end it was OP and the grandparents who were the sole members of her family to show up and support her. She's going to remember that!
If you had given them the money. You would have become the family Atm for all of them because "family" and you gave it to....... she's playing the long game, so in the future, she can ask you for (fill in the blanks). DON'T FALL FOR HER ACT.
Why do the children of rich people get offended by having shit handed to them? I’ve never been discouraged because my peers bought their own cars and my dad bought my 1st 3 cars. I run the family business now but have never understood what exactly to be insecure about. I driven the cars, I lived in the apartments my dad paid for & now I’ve taken the family business further & have businesses outside the family but still having used that income. Would I be happy with my son bring insecure about the life I & my forefathers have all walked a fine line. The answer is no so what’s there to be insecure about?
I was thinking, just talk to the fiance, when Catherine came asking for money. Pride was the bigger problem not the money. Breaking the facade for them might have been better than throwing her out. But maybe it worked out better since Catherine doubled down on the good person, not the pride or money and did it herself. I hope they have a happy marriage. Fiance seem like a patient magnanimous guy by just fixing the problem, I hope he is happy.
Shouldn’t need Dave Ramsay for that. Any money you “lend” to family and close friends is a gift. Consider that money gone forever because there’s a 99% chance it is.
Last one....didnt expect for repair relationship with golden child on her special day.....now when is the up dates when op tell story on niece or nephews and entitled grandparents demand grandparents rights to golden child
Story 1 op is kind of dumb. He goes on and on about how his entire family turned on him but he didn't tell any of his family what actually happened so they only had the parents side to go off of. What th me hell did he expect?
To not have to defend himself, one at a time, from family members that would rather berate him than actually ask for his side of the story. Diplomacy is a two way street.
@classarank7youtubeherokeyb63 yeah but them reaching out talking to him like they are is them attempting to either understand the situation or react to what they know. He never gave them another side. If he tells 1 family member they will tell 5 more
