As requested, this is everything I could think of that I consider when I play cleric. A lot of things have changed since the last guide I created. I hope you like it!
I haven't really died on cleric in over a week 😳 tbf I've sometimes felt like a bully running around in BIS epic gear (+ Demon Grip Gloves that give +1 all, got them off of a fighter today... so yeah, definitely fought some incredibly geared players, too) in caves but I just really don't enjoy HR. The worst part about dying wouldn't be the gold (though the kit is probably worth ~8k gold+) but having to find the items again, which is almost impossible. 😄 Thanks for the guide, looking good and definitely a viable built / the built that I've also been using for a while now. I've been considering to swap out Bless as I got so much stats (every single item in my kit has +1all and oftentimes +other stats, too) that the diminishing returns on stats are actually noticeable. The only option would be Earthquake (I do have enough knowledge for that) but it's just pretty easy to counter imo and the other spells kinda suck anyway. Personally my favourite items for this built have been: Hat: Chaperon (you can get +1all chaperons for 50-100g) Gloves: Riveted Gloves (BIS probably demon grip gloves with +1all and another beneficial stat which is what Im using now) Chest: Templar Armor (Imo just too good to pass and the movement penalty isn't too bad and I end up at ~30% PDR) Pants: Leather Leggings (idk.. I just like having more will. Also all the +1 all make it so that we end up with lots of knowledge anyway and MR + more magic power are good, too). I wouldn't Loose Trousers if I had a pair that was as good (or better) than the Leggings that I'm using right now. Feet: Plate Boots (+3 strength & +1 all + more beneficial stats are just too much stats to pass up on imo) Back: Tattered Cloak Rings: Courage / quickness with +1all and more beneficial stats ($$$) Amulet: Ox with +1all and more beneficial stats ($$$) I have several +% casting speed items mixed in my built (for example the spellbook) as well as magic pen, definitely works wonders. With this setup I end up at 285 Movespeed (= 95%). If item availability wasn't an issue I'd buy some +1all items with + Movespeed but good luck finding those. The marketplace is painful. While obviously slower than my BIS Barb (at ~320 MS) it's still fast enough to not be completely unable to catch up to someone so I feel like it's worth it wearing the specific plate items, that I mentioned. 🙂

I have had Earthquake let me kill people who don't understand they can pull out a bow and shoot me lol. I might go back to sanctuary more as a solo. Also, I noticed u mentioned spell scaling when you were talking about the protection spell and unfortunately all shield spells, skills, and potions do not currently scale except for Arcane Shield on wizard at 50%.
Only works for melee attacks. (I guess it would also work for ranged attacks with throwing knives, bow, etc if those were available to cleric. But for now: only melee hits)
Honestly just going in solo as a cleric with blue not a lot of people want to fight you and usually avoid you or proceed with xtreme caution iv noticed so its been nice looting for basically free 😂😂 2 weeks no deaths 😂 only had a handful of people try to fight me 😂
i partially disagree with the ranged meta statement. The current meta in 3s in buff ball and the response to counter that is ranged. You'll find a lot of the anti meta ranged players in solos as well.
