@@physically3027 I've played it before using the mod too, but after playing with the actual mod you can no longer go back to vanilla. It's a huge perspective shift. I came to laugh at the vanilla gameplay systems after having thoroughly explored and experienced ee.

Yes, normal is just renamed Death March. Have fun trying to kill the first wraith. I suggest tinkering with enemy health values if you find some fights too tough.

Balthazar already beaten it. Took me ~20 tries. Then I also beat the Royal Griffin after ~35 tries, and the Harrisi (arachas in early Velen). Harrisi took me the most tries, and it was the most unengaging fight I ever experienced.

Im speculating playing W3 again. I didnt play the 2 DLCs, but i finished the main quest. I noticed in the video that the enemies are quite spongy. Can you lower their HP, so the fights are deadly and short? I die in 3 hits, they die in 3 hits?

@@TrueMomozo Yes, I personaly just raised the damage of my weapons to x2, since enemies were already killing me in two hits. You can also customize damage and health values for each enemy type (e.g. vampires, bandits, spectres.).

it's actually very simple once you played it a few days.

I fucking suck at mathematics and I managed to grasp and enjoy W3EE even without reading the extensive manual on every mechanic that is available or even going through the amazing in-game tutorial the author put together just for that purpose. I guarantee you every single change makes the gameplay more interesting and fun than vanilla. Also, nobody cares if you play the mod or not, so why bother to post this comment? It's free and out there for people who wish to enjoy a thrilling and Immersive experience instead of the one- dimensional boring vanilla one. If you aren't interested, leave.

it is if you lock on the target, the thing is... it was made that way so you can "bend the attack" for example, you press shift + atk, geralt will start to charge foward where you mouse is, and by moving your mouse you can change the direction mid animation, for example, you can charge towards an shielded enemy, move around him and atk him from behind in a single atk animation

Read the dodging section in the description. Easier with a keyboard but perfectly playable with a controller.

@@J_just_J_yes The 90 degrees is simply the base, Fleet Footed and several other things can increase that. If you dodge outside of it, you will never have active i-frames even if you time it right.

Obviously this one. Ghost mod is an improvement of vanilla whereas this mod creates a far superior experience than the vanilla game ever could. It's written in the description on the mod page.

If you think vanilla is a decent experience that only needed a few changes, play Ghost Mod. If you think the entire game needed a massive and complicated overhaul, play Enhanced Edition.

If you're prepared for a fun and Immersive adventure rather than a borderline tedious one, then Enhanced edition is for you. It's similar to the offer a greek hero gets in an ancient Greek fairytale where he has to choose either being rich and leading a tedious lazy life or facing exciting challenges and adventures like a hero.

You need to find the inputs in the input.settings file and change all the entries for a certain action to the button you want. It's not hard, but a bit tedious.

@@_K_e_y yeah. I imagined as much but, there is no harm playing later either. By the time I finish this playthrough, they might have just another and far better iteration. Quitting now will leave me only bummed. To be honest, it all felt a little overwhelming to me: I've just got the hang of the w3ee and this mod introduces a whole new batch of mechanics.

Yes, it's definitely out of the devs' vision of an unfinished mess, with half of its content cut, which requires nothing more than mashing 2 buttons and occasionally pressing the 3rd one. Making the game somewhat interesting to play definitely breaks that.
