The ex transmission is geared a little better than the LX. But if you want more aggressive gears and keep the F22, I wouldn’t go any more than an H23 trans. I have an M2B4 H22 swap in my CB and it turns like 4K+ rpm at 80mph. It’s fine for short drives but if you plan on road tripping it’s pretty annoying. I know some people have put the LX 5th gear into the M2B4 (and similar trans) so the first 4 are pretty short and then you have a hwy gear for road tripping/fuel economy.
Trunk conversion looks hella good bro. Red/clear tail lights would be nice if you can find them... T2W4(euro R) tranny will wake up that f22. I put a M2F4(h22) tranny on my old F22 and it made it quick. Keep the f tranny 5th gear if you can. T2W4 tranny with 5th gear swap in a H22A CB7 = Panty Dropper
I am also located in the bay area and I am almost done restoring my family's original owned 1993 Ex accord and one of the last things I need to do is swap out the rear seat backs due to some serious sun damage fading over the years. Any idea on where to find rear seats for a cb7 in the bay area? I am looking for blue oem seats or aphoulstery
Yeah I'm in the same position, I think we got to hit up an upholstery place to get it done because any seats are going to find won't look any better than the ones you got
@@SleeperHonda I called a good local upholstery place that quoted me 1500 in labor for just the rear seats... id really love not to do that but might have to cuz iv checked all the cb7s in junk yards near me and no luck on good condition seats
@@SleeperHonda lmaooa i wish but nah the car looks dope with no tint in my opinion. It's a museum piece being able to see inside the entire car the way you can, like a fish bowl. But i wish it had uv protection on the windows from the beginning
i found 2 trunks at the junkyard that has the holes for the spoiler and one without the holes for the spoiler is it rare for the one without the holes or no? both in mint condition
Nah, it's the 90 sedan bumper with black tinted turn signals. Looks sick right. I feel like it makes the front bumper look more modern with the classic Honda mouth
