Tried to get this build ready for No Prep Kings event at US 131 raceway in Martin Michigan but it didn't go as planned. The fireball instantly destroyed the plastic gearboxes while testing the RC operation. We decided to abandon the project and throw the parts in a Traxxas RC drag slash and found out we had a major issue with the radio system settings. Should we try again or just go chain drive and brushed motor? Let us know what you think. For now we will do some research on parts and get ready for the indoor slot car racing season at the CKC Speedway.
