@@The.Accountant.11 but the point is this bikes did not got update with time its Competition like the Duke 200 or the Apache 200 they got all the electronics and features time to time but with in the case of Ns 200 I did not got such major updates
@@The.Accountant.11 every vehicle’s price is hiking rapidly since 2020 and bajaj knows how to set their bikes price fairly although they use ktm engine’s in their bikes
I am in the Automobile Dealership business with Bajaj as our main Competition. The reason the NS has barely changed is that like the Pulsar and Enfield Classic/Bullet they are aware that making revolutionary changes will not lead to increase in sales. Case in point the new Pulsar 250 twins which did not do well leading to them bringing back the 220. It’s the same reason the Activa looks the same generation after generation, ditto for Classic.
Absolutely. That's why when Honda launched new Unicorn 160, the sales tanked and they had bring the old Unicorn looks back. Same reason why TVS also sells old look Apache and Bajaj recently bought pulsar 220F back. Indian manufacturers should evolve their bike's looks like Yamaha did with R15 V1 to V2 instead of completly changing them.
After a long time Bajaj thought of adding dual channel abs and now Atleast u guys could add some LED lights ..rest all are fine ..😅 Why only looking in the sales if u can't bring revolution which defines you 😮 hiking prices only ..220f is now costing more costly without any 6th gear/ dual channel abs ..is this what re-launching meant by Bajaj
True it hasn't been updated in terms of design. True other manufacturers update. But this still has a cult following and DOES NOT cost a bomb like other similarly spec'd bikes. The price and the performance it offers is still a good value. Will wait for your comparison video.
Dont fix whats not broken 🤷♀️ 200NS is a no gimmick bike. All of the complaints that Varun said don't add anything to the riding experience but what does add to experience were USD which they have added.
Forget fixing design, this is mechanically a good bike add the gizmos of 2023 atleast. 1) Bright LED Headlight 2) Slipper Clutch 3) Adjustable brake and clutch lever 4) USB Charger These 3 are must some more are gimmicks but still needed in 2023 like 5) Riding Modes 6) Console with Bluetooth connection 7) Adjustable front and rear suspension 8) Bike with more colours and no stickers as well.
@@vroombk True. Addition of USD won't make much difference but it's a step that remains true to the character of NS being a no nonsense bike since upgrades like USD aren't gimmicks and provide better value than Bluetooth or led indicators. I don't get the trend with every manufacturer putting Bluetooth connectivity option in their bikes, it probably increases the cost by few thousands and I think won't be used by 99% of people.
@@VikasJaink 3 of the 4 points you mentioned can be done aftermarket except for slipper clutch but of course it would be better if the manufacturer does it. Headlamp should definitely be updated with led and slightly newer looks. I hate the sticker job on entire Bajaj lineup, this wasn't the case in BS3 200NS, plain colors are needed. They should launch no sticker purple and green color.
No Painter I don't agree, No need for a completely New NS, it's the Design that people Love ,you see what happened with the New F250, super flop,so flop that Bajaj was forced to Bring back what most Journalist called the Old Pulsar 220f in Less than a Year, I think Bajaj has done the smart thing with the NS by not touching the Looks and design & giving it new features like dualchannel Abs, USD forks Gear shifting Indicator etc n Nobody needs a Blutooth it's basically useless n Nobody uses it,. What people want is New Features not Design change because a Good-looking Bike Never gets Old.
I think Bajaj doesn't have balls and good design team now, see how FZ and R15 changed their design for every 4 years. R15 is already in 4th generation and pulsar is stuck from gen1.
Bajaj doesn't update the ns twins because they think that people will buy them just like they are. And they're probably right. But 10+ years of this, almost makes it seem like they're taking us for granted. 10 years was enough to make some design changes, maybe make it lighter... Idk.
It's already class leading in performance. Literally no bike can beat it in performance for the price even after a decade. Most of the bikes in the segment aren't even liquid cooled unlike 200NS.
It just needed an led light setup. Instead of USD forks could hv covered the basics as mentioned. Which would hv grabbed the eyes of young generation who are all prefering the MT15 Bajaj is somewhere stuck in 2015 yet. The brand which had class leading features is just lagging behind.
Hey varun , i should appreciate you for putting out the nice things about the vehicle even when there is very minimal changes to the motorcycle itself , but i feel now it’s upto bajaj to breath new life into their motorcycles .
Dear Varun, I think NS has been reintroduced due to the fact that there is a huge fan following for the original version. Else bajaj would have stopped the same. Bajaj remains the only manufacturer who releases both old and new bikes, thus giving customers options to choose old favourites or new line ups A design overhaul in already futuristic design may wind up its life since the cult following is the reason why it is reintroduced Also the new N series bikes when focuses on meaty low and midranges, the old NS especially the 200 is for the revv loving riders
In trying to give new design ktm really messed up... I think until bajaj don't create a better design there is no need to change in its looks.. It's still beefy looking bike, Ignore this guy's opinion regarding looks of the motorcycle in this video.
this bike is not for pea balls who like to have more gimmiks then power , a bigger console then a engine or all leds too make their bike look like their pink neon room, ... this bike is for the 90s man who likes to go braaaapppp on the twistys smokeup the tyres & pull the thongs ridings on their LCD console scared at 60 with dual ABS & Traction control .!!!
I don't get the point of having NS 160 and NS 200 as an option in the market. N160 and N250 feel more modern, smooth, refined and efficiency is much better than the NS series. Power and Torque delivery is also much better in N160 and N250. In 2023, you don't even get frickin' LED headlamps or DRLs in the NS brothers 👿 but yes, the muscular stance might be appealing. Apart from being a hard core enthusiast who wants to rev the nuts out of the bike and extract the most fun out of it, NS Series makes no sense in 2023!
@@ducatimultistradav4850 nah you absolutely went on a rant about why n series makes more sense than ns Agreed 👍 My issue where's the same logic For the multistrada v4 An adv is suppose to be tore apart Who the hell would want to tore the v4 which they bought for 30,000 dollars + Even someone is ready to do it They have to replace the thing's You know how much it costs to replace the Ducati parts + In adv rides sometimes problems arises becoz of some offload stuff The bike breaks down You know how to work on a v4 ? I'm asking this just Becoz you went on a rant about the ns
Bajaj is lagging behind in pretty all segments. IMO After Pulsar series n Pulsar 220, they haven't brought market shaking product. They need to act fast else
No varun, one of the reasons it sells is its design ... the features you mentioned as missing , 90 percent are gimmicy... do we really need those plus what about the price factor to be kept in check....for everything else... there is a KTM
Design is perfect, why change it ? Change the engine, instrument cluster, head lamps. Very lazy review from your team. Design has not changed for 10 years .....blah blah
These guys want buetooth, wifi an appstore on the NS' instrument console. Fck that, i want the NS to stay raw and mechanical like the way it is. The design is beautiful, and for people who want wifi and bluetooth on their bikes get a new smartphone or tablet and stick it to the dash, voila u get apps, wifi calling, full on g-maps9not just pathetic turn by turn navigation, OLEd screen. Who the fck wants all that when that shod e the priority of a performance machine ? The whole automotive media seem to have forgotten what it means to ride a performance motorcycle. Seriously grow up. As far as led headlights ae concerned that is a reasonable demand, but the R & behind that to incorporate to the NS would increase the price significantly which will lose the the vfm performance machine tag. The NS need USD Forks and Dual Channel CBS and Bajaj have given that instead of discontinuing he gorgeous raw machine. There cn never be a new NS without shooting the price to 2.5 lakhs.
I think Bajaj could've done better by giving LEDs all over and the new instrument cluster. But what can we expect when we know that Bajaj is too much lazy to do all those and reviving the bike with a new generation.
@@vroombk yeah it costs good but considering the time shouldn't it change for now? I'm not asking for Bluetooth like gimmick features but a design update atleast after 10years of the same design. And yes I'm not complaining about the engine, it's completely fine if it keeps on coming with this engine. But just the design. Even if not a completely new one atleast a few bits.
@@vroombk not just NS, for that matter even 220F, avenger, dominar! More than 5 years old models without any significant changes to keep them alive. Sometime being too safe can kill the brands!
Thats sad to hear Varun, but isn't the content made for the people on the other side of the screen. The car reviews are still top notch. I guess the motorcycle ones need some work.
200 NS was launched in 2012 discontinued in 2016 relaunched in 2017 now again there was rumour of discontinuation in 2022 now relaunched 2023 power of demand and cult following same goes the legend 220F they both suit this dialogue very well "Jabtak inhe log pyar karte rehnge tab tak inhe koi marne wala paida nhi ho payega" that's why bajaj relaunched them because those commuter wannabe by bajaj f&n 250 failed to do so in sales 😂 also you were talking about industry name any other 200cc bike under 2 lakhs on road which gives you proper perimeter frame , 6 speed , Liquid cooling, 4v engine
