The Humanitarian Parole Program has been in effect since January 2023, and although there are many who oppose to the creation of this program, numbers have shown it's positively affecting immigration processes. Since its implementation, fewer people has illegally crossed the border.
This program has a 30,000 limit for visas per month for all 4 eligible countries. High demand and amount of applications have led the government to choose half the applicants by lottery, and the other half is chosen first-come-first-serve.

Wow! Being processed like a game lotto? Man that is harsh and unfair to the those who are trying to process in the right way.

In my opinion it is totally BS to do half by lottery? Letting late comers in ahead of people who have been clearly waiting their turn for long periods of time. That just infuriates me beyond words! I am an American citizen who applied as a sponsor for a Haitian, 6 months ago and still haven't even had my application approved! if they ever get around to approving it, how much longer will it take to get his application processed and approved? How many years does this process take, with them slipping late comers in ahead of the rest of us? If you're standing in a long line to get into some event here in the U.S., people don't take kindly to anyone trying to cut in line. In some instance people who have tried, have gotten beat up. So why is it okay to do it now?

Really, that program is like a lottery, can you help me too please. The situation here is very critical. I am a working man. There is no daily work here. The insecurity has gotten worse. I have been away from my house with my family for 3 months. Help me. approve my luck.

Is there any chance that the quantity of people approved each month will be increased? I am waiting nearly a year for my friend from Venezuela and still nothing. Would it be better to have her cross the border illegally and rely on TPS after that as opposed to the humanitarian parole? The situation is quite critical and it seems the government would prefer people arrive without authorization by crossing the Mexican border.

Hello. I am interested in applying for Humanitarian Parole Visa. I am currently in Nepal. Our country is under political pressure at the moment. The dictator in my country has set up a political rule where every men who are under the age of 35 must involved in military service where every men are sent to war of killing the innocent citizens. My husband was asked to involved in this event urgently. To escape from this disaster, my husband and I escaped from our country and currently living in Nepal. My sister is in US at the moment and is Green card holder. I would like to if my husband and I are qualify to apply for Humanitarian parole. Please let me know in advance. Thanks.
