I could tell he was telling the truth because stuff like that happens all the time, especially in third world countries. People try to take advantage of the less fortunate and their inability to advocate for themselves.

When he updates them, he ask them what they found on their own. He has NO business telling people, not to go to a professional for help, since he claims he can & will in that specific area. Buying a breeze card, is not enuff for mental health, that he says he provides. He put that responsibility on his self. Im not hating. He the 1 who aint PROVIDING, what he claims. If hes qualified, BUT not, THAT'S y people speak up. We see him not react like a therapist. We ain't seen NO results of these people getting help thats just as good or better for them by him. Again, he ask all of them, what have they found on their own. They dont even say they got any info like that from him either, & they still on the street smh. Im not shocked. If U gonna tell people U better than professionals in this area, i expect U to provide the same or more skills, to truly help them, especially when telling them dont go. So definitely show/live up to what u claim. The whole problem just saying he's helping like that, but aint. Telling them dont go, causes them to stay the same.... Money/donations, breeze card, some food, a lot of money being passed around, but wheres the most important help that he says he does?? If u really concerned for these people's wellbeing, i look at U funny if u dont ask the same & go along with it.... sounds familiar huh....
I used to be homeless out there in 2017, I stayed at mission atlanta, and it was another shelter that they preach to you first before you eat, and the place is actually a church where everyone slept on thin mattresses really close to eachother, i just cant remember the name of the place i know it was across the street from 2chains club. Yes, the depressed environment drove me to smoking crack. However, i knew i had to leave this toxic place so i moved back to texas where i completed college to become a Software Developer making over $100,000 yearly. In 1993 i was in the military got out and got a job as a Technical Support Engineer. Moving to Atlanta was a depressing curse, especially if you not making legal buku amounts of money.

I'm actually a licensed professional counselor that deals with ppl who suffer from mental health issues and substance abuse. I see things like this and worse every day. In any situation wjere someone is trying to better themselves, steps have to be taken. You don't just wake up today and better your situation by nightfall.
Im pretty sure the first woman in your video, is Deanna Parris. She won the bronze medal in gymnastics during the 2012 Olympics. Her eyes are the same. Her face looks different, obviously because of her teeth issue. Anyway, kinda hard to believe that was only 9 years ago. Maybe it isnt her. But it definitely looks like her. Well, when you go to God you are supposed to leave your old life behind including family until you are strong. Now it’s a good thing you can depend on them because most real followers of God don’t want you depending on anyone but God but honestly that’s the best way to get to God. However, what they was on trying to get you to not call on God is wrong and those are entities, not followers of God.
I could understand why dude feels like that place is cultish.. No disrespect to anyones belief but that’s why I stay away from anything Christian based myself.. I’ve seen too much and heard too much hypocrisy, weirdness and wickedness that aligns itself with the Christian beliefs.. Always listen to your instinct or your gut which is our second brain..

💀..... so I guess Marcus thought this will show he is doing "something". It's the SAME thing we always see. He discourages people to get perfessional help for mental health as well as addicts. But I have yet to see him fill in what exactly he is doing for them mentally, emotionally. He got on Chris for relying on his Grandma to help him do the work & preparation for true change like paperwork, where to go, how to get his provisions right. This boy has mental difficulties where he needs help which is normal for a person like that. Marcus think he's better than a certified psychiatrist & therapist learning skills & identifying symptoms of illnesses, but marcus talking to chris like he has no problem. Y can he not tell or understand chris having a illness which he needs assistance with? He acting like chris lazy & taking advantage of a woman for help & shelter. Well this is the kicker smh. If Marcus complains about Chris relying on a woman, Y IS MARCUS NOT PROVIDING OR HELPING CHRIS DO THAT LIKE HE CLAIMS HE KNOWS HOW TO DO THE HELP IN THOSE AREAS AND PROVIDE RESOURCES?? No he left that to chris, then criticized him, but didn't volunteer to help him.
When did Marcus ever discourage someone from getting professional help? Honestly professional help is rarely helpful. I think Lot of people do like to have someone listen to them, and treat them like a person. Marcus has his moments, but this isn’t one of them.
@@user-dz3yp7lb2j It's the 3rd video under this 1 I think. Some1 who's still on the street, told him her goals to get help. 1 was going to rehab, (which also provides extra resources). He tells her it dont work bcuz it's drugs everywhere & some1 probably drug dealing near the center... then offers her to stay somewhere near him. So nah.... therapists have a rule to not sleep with their clients, & if so, they're fired bcuz that's not help, or adds stability to the client. Marcus has, & pays them. What helped? That's what some do daily. A therapist is BETTER than his "help" & "services". Where's his proof? Can we see some1 HE got cleaned?? Methods of counseling for their mental & emotional needs? If a some1's selling U something & adds a extra 1 but half off, u feel good, u trust the person going to give u what they said. The deal's better than other places... but when there, its Ur 1 item. Where's the half off item? U were lied to innocently believing U got a good deal, & chose there. So u naturally ask where's the extra 1? They say, the deal changed, (out of nowhere) & u have to pay the full price. Many times we give their item back, cuz they lied not giving what they advertised. Then u cant get a refund. They made that deal, so if they didnt provide it, ur angry, & let down.... if he saying he's like a certified person, but u dont see the proof, that's not right cuz lives r used. To discourage them from getting real help, is grimey.
