Best to update the NAV card and lower cards for PFD/MFD at the same time. In the plane make sure to insert the lower cards before powering up the panel. Synching has been glitchy for me in the past so I do the NAV update without relying on the synch function. Do this by inserting the NAV card in the PFD first. Then insert the NAV card in the MFD and repeat. Make sure to replace the logging card in the MFD when done. The backup database function is also glitchy and it is possible to corrupt the databases using it. Best to just do the updates when they become available each month all at once.

I am an avid airplane enthusiast, however terrible circumstances with a head on car accident has made things hard for me to pursue a GA pilots licence if Cirrus wants to give me a SR22 Turbo I wouldn't say no ( :P ). in fact I would share/lend it out to anyone wanting to have a test of the plane, or let anyone have incentive rides, you name it I would do it!
