I watched this in 2018 and just watched it again on Netflix... I rewatched the Redband trailer before watching it on Netflix and I was as captivated as the first time. I had forgotten how emotional and gripping Logan Marshall's acting was.
Wow this movie is so good. And for a budget movie its EPIC! The entire storyline is great and has no logic faults...like all hollywood movieshit these days! The fights are great, the actors, the visuals... I hope to see more of this talented man!
For those, who are considering watching this and everyone else: go watch the freaking movie NOW, and you'll not regret. It's one of those movies, that I keep recalling to my mind, thinking of its meaning. It's not complicated, but it bears such an important message, conveyed sooo smoothly with incredible action scenes. I am neat-picky, but would talk about this one for a while. If you admire simplicity and quality, this is what you need. Although I cannot guarantee anything, comparing this to some modern crap action movies out there (just my perspective), this is FIRE
Really, you never saw Robocop? This is a movie they make for fat boys who want to fantasize about doing stuff. But they can't because they are too fat, and can only jump 2 feet high....if that.
Hardcore Henry is fucking awesome (and I would not call first person a gimmick). Upgrade is also fucking awesome. Hell, I would love to see a first person version of upgrade.
This sort of reminds me of that short little window of R rated sci-fi movies in the 80's. I'm thinking things like Total Recall, Robocop, The Terminator, heck even the lesser known Runaway (I liked it at the time). Nice to see a reawakening of this little sub-genre.
considering current technology we may be closer than you think especially when the true potential finally seeps into the minds of the companies producing and researching such technology i imagine the amount of money alone would make the board members spooge their thousand dollar pants suits
Saw the movie last night... and, it was excellent. You sense it is low-budget, but the pace and visuals more than make up for the lack of money. The combination of a competent director and solid leading actor made it a fun ride. I found the beginning, after the character becomes a quadriplegic, rather heartfelt and emotional - well done.
Yesterday evening i saw this movie ( Germans have the Best Synro in the World) for the first time. This movie is so absolutly amazing. Wow. Thank you. I wish i can see this movie today again.
Thank god I haven't seen this trailer before seeing the movie LoL.... It's like a whole movie. And anyone looking for reviews it's a damn good movie and worth a watch
Not really Making a movie rated R doesn't make it automatically better, it would benefit it in moments when he bites off people's heads, but that's just about it The story was shit but it's like watching a dumpster fire, you can't exactly look away
This reminds me of the preview for Venom. The guy even looks like Tom Hardy and the scene in the apartment where the guy is fighting the bad guy is almost the same as Venom.
Do yourself a favor and stop watching the trailer after 0:43 if you still can. The movie is awesome, go see it, but the trailer gives a lot of cool moments away.
just watched this movie, didn't watch the trailer before and LOVE ID ! i love movies like this, kinda unknown but very well done, would rate 8/10 goot story good acting, funny moments and also sad scenes, perfect.
I fucking love Logan Marshall Green, I discovered him on Quarry, and shame on the people that decided to cancel that master piece of a show... There are absolute garbage tv shows out there that get renewed for 10 seasons it's insanity
