This movie’s soundtrack is so underrated. Jed Palmer created a masterful OST. Especially “The Procedure.” It really fills you with awe and wonder.

Remember sitting down on a Saturday night not sure what to do and this movie just so happened to be coming up. Thought it was gonna be a movie about a dude who fixes cars boii the movie escalated real quick.

Very solid movie imo. I think it will stand the test of time, as it's noticeably well put-together on multiple rewatches. The effects are surprisingly great too. Especially given it's relatively tight budget of $3m.

Upgrade is such an underrated movie. The physical acting by Logan Marshall-Green, the amazing instrumental score, the wonder of scientific discovery…all of it is on hand in this wonderful scene. Here, the magic of science fiction is shown to us. 👍 👍

That whole sequence of Grey getting his body back was magical to me when I saw it in theaters. Even now, I still get that sense of awe, like I'm seeing the impossible happen. And everyone in the scene sharing these feelings only intensifies it for me. Even Aaron is in disbelief that his creation is working so well right out of the gate. Really gives me hope that one day, technology will get to where no one with a spinal injury wil be confined to a chair in a useless body.

I just realised that this is a moment where Grey is not the only one who learn how to walk (for the first time). Stem didnt just like that knew how to do things, taking them from Grey's mind (maybe some)

His smile at 3:46 perfectly represent happiness and relief the likes of which able bodied people can only imagine, and he was only crippled a short time. Imagine A.I. giving lifelong wheelchair users that first step.

The egregious use of the word “underrated” in this comment thread is astounding. When did this word start becoming so misused?!

I think the reason the word “underrated” is used a lot with this movie is that it was critically acclaimed, but not many people saw it. As time has gone on, more people HAVE seen it courtesy of rental and home video. This is a movie that should’ve been a critical AND financial success upon release, but it’s found the majority of its audience after the fact. Hope that helps clear things up.
