Definitely a fight we like to see but unfortunately no one has written that story of that happening that is good enough for the current producers and staff to consider making it into a new Doctor Who show. But what we can expect are the imagination, the dreamers of dreams whom will no doubt when properly motivated will stop at nothing to make such a show happen. That said, all you lot out there get your pencils, pens, or what ever writing tool which including typing fingers as well and get ready, for when you have the will then make it happen. That said, Geronimo.
Yeah, Moffat's got a bizarre hard-on for the cybermen -- he event went on record saying that if they got time-travel, they'd be more dangerous than the daleks during their Time War height (which, to be honest, made him a bit of a laughing stock in Who fan circles for that alone). Anyway, IIRC these cybermen actually fought in the LGTW... and were still minor players. Now, compared to what we've seen so far of the Time War dalek stuff, and it makes you wonder how powerful the daleks were at their height to make these cybermen be so trivial in the grand scheme of things.
@@aranseanziegler1421 Nope -- the stuff the Daleks were throwing around during their Last Great Time War-era shenanigans made the Cybermen look completely impotent. Seriously, the War Doctor stories' stuff is nightmarish, and they used tech which was comparable to the cybermen as expendable drones. Moffat just liked to wank them up as a pan-universal threat because he had a hard on for them, for some reason.
a lot easier to write and takes less time to imliment in a story. woulda been neat if instead of flat out no selling the tactics and tech used against them gradually lost effectiveness as they deloped countermeasures and tech of their own to counter the weapons used on them with the reveal being that cybermen's minds get uploaded to a nexus of sorts when terminated harvested of all data they had and the more intelegent ones used as co processors for a giant mesh network machine mind processing zetabytes of information hourly running constant simulations based on its existing datasets eventually starting to run predictive countermeasures based on these results. lets just hope they dont clone the bare minimum for life and stuff it into a suit with a copy of a cybermans mind pioleting it...
They'd easily beat the daleks. Daleks dont really change cause they already believe that theyre the superior lifeform where as the cybermen are constantly looking for any weakness to erase and upgrade
aye in a way this makes em look like they COULD be a bigger threat then the current daleks by sheer numbers they could overwelm some dalek's if caught off gaurd and with no known upper limit to these upgrades could force the daleks into a no win scenerio where none of their curently avalable attacks work in which case the writer would be forced to reveal some vulnrability to ensure status quo.
