Upgrade to Windows 11 on unsupported hardware - The easiest way 

Upgrade to Windows 22H2 or 23H2 by deleting the file seems to no longer work with the 22H2/23H2 update. You get a message saying: "We're having trouble determining if your PC can run Windows 11" In the meanwhile, Microsoft has released Windows 11 23H2. I finally did it. You recommended me to this instead of your other video. It worked perfectly. I did make sure to back up the drive first in case MS breaks the install in the future. I'll be able to restore to Windows 10 easily if need be.

Simplicity is the hallmark of "Genius". This process worked like a charm on my 4-year-old Dell over other video methodologies on the web in regard to older machines with unsupported hardware.

I carefully followed the instructions up to the point where Win 10 said my Language was English (United Kingdom) which wasn't a option in the upgrade. I went with English (International) and it worked out completely fine. Clear video with excellent instructions. Installed on Intel i7 7500U Laptop running W10. A happy bunny and thank you.

I have a Dell Vostro 3750 laptop with Windows 10 pro (version 21H2), very high spec i7 quad core processor, 8 gigs of ram, 64 bit, but the TPM 2.0 problem. It's 9 years old but functions with no problems, so this is at last a solution other than a hardware upgrade, or new laptop!

OMG, this is an amazingly simple solution. I upgraded to Windows 11 on an older gaming laptop that didn’t support secure boot and had an unsupported CPU. It work exactly like in the video and both my Windows security and updates are working perfectly. That you very much for this.

Great!! I was able to install it on my six year old HP Pavilion ( Lap Top) and it works perfectly. The only thing I noticed was that I could no longer plug in another monitor, probably because the graphics card is old. On the other PC didn't work. Thanx for sharing.

I was so desperate I was going put chrome or Linus on them. Not now,I like Windows again. I wrote Microsoft and stated that they should let everyone on 10 get on 11, with a condition that the hardware change would imperative 2025. I never got a response.

My thanks jensd_be I followed your instructions and upgraded my PC (which is unsupported by MS) from Win10pro to Win11pro all thanks to your utube video that is so clearly explained and graphically illustrated even a child would be successful following your instructions! Windows and Security updates all working so far at this point in time! Who would think deleting just one file would allow unsupported PCs to get Windows 11? I am sure MS management are aware of this and makes me suspicious why MS are allowing users to get round the Win11 unsupported hardware so easily? Anyway thanks to you I can play around with Win 11 as much as it will let me and if anything goes wrong I did a Macrium image backup of Win10 Pro so I can revert back easily if required. Just came across this video after trying endlessly to upgrade from win 10 pro to win 11 by trying to upgrade my TPM but with no success. Got the message my system wasn't compatible, ie processor i5 4370 not compatible also TPM had to be ver 2.0 instead of my ver of ,1.3. Followed your instructions and downloaded and installed win 11 without any problem. I cannot thank you enough for this video and just goes to show how bad Microsoft are at trying to make people buy new computers when they don't need to. I haven't changed anything on my pc and win 11pro is working flawlessly including windows updates, so once again a great big thanks.😊😊😊😊😊

Thought I'd root about a bit after my comment. In Sources folder, running setupprep.exe worked perfectly on my system (i7 no TPM) and now running Win 11. Thanks for your videos!

Thank you! I've watched other videos involving registry 'hacks', file swapping between Win 10 and Win 11 ISOs, or even downloading pre 'hacked' DLLs (sketchy?), and this worked JUST FINE! I've installed Win 11 using your video on a 10 year old desktop with a FIRST GEN i7 720 on a P6T mainboard with 6GB ram and it runs just fine and updated with no problems! I probably won't keep Win 11 on this computer because at some point they probably will introduce (security) updates that my hardware just doesn't support, but for now I can affirm that this works, updates, and runs great on my 'OLD' computer! EDIT- This also works fine if you use the windows installation media tool...creating a USB drive (what I did, and he also mentioned). The files will be the same on your USB drive (delete the same file) and you save the disk space and time mounting and deleting the ISO file (it creates a bootable 'ISO' straight to your thumb drive).

I used this on my amd fx 6300 , no uefi (legacy bios) ,no tpm ,unsupported processor. Worked flawlessly. Thank you so much .

Worked for me on my 14-year-old desktop with a Pentium E2140 dual-core processor, 8GB of DDR2 ram, 256GB SSD. The only thing I noticed was the search icon missing on the taskbar. The app was still there, just the icon was missing. Not a big dealbreaker since I can turn off that icon and search for anything by just clicking the windows button and being typing to search. I also do not know if there will be a fix for this, but nonetheless, Windows 11 runs great on my "trial" pc.
