To be fair JD look after him quite well. From demo units like the 8rx to getting him gear to try/ use when his gear goes down.

Ya. He got a x9 demo before a lot of farmers a lot bigger than him did. I'd say they take very good care of him! But funny thing is that this planter upgrade was an electrical nightmare! And they decided to send it down the road after all that time and $.

I dunno why this came up in my feed but I recently watched Millennial Farmer struggle with constant sensor issues just trying to get started seeding due having to restart his machine over and over again or wait for the tech only for it to magically start somewhat working. phew. talk about stressful.

Good video, well articulated as everything you said is true. Would have been a great opportunity to equip with precision planting. No comparison to accuracy and Deere has yet to steal the idea of auto scripting population and variety, auto seed depth, and fertilizer rates based on on-the fly organic matter, cec, and moisture levels. Not to be a smartass but the subsidies you received for the Deere equipment are not going to out weigh the yield gains based on our side by sides

@johndeere We love our ExactEmerge planter except for the weak shanks. Broke 5 in the first year. 80% was on strip till ground also. Any fixes for this? Shouldn’t be having this issue especially on strip till. They have all broke just below where opener blades mount.
