First upgrade I did to my Trail Boss. I used Lasfit because I didn’t know this brand existed. I’m happy with the improvement. Next was the front turn signal bulbs.

Diode Dynamics is the best in LED lights. 3 year warranty. Made in the USA. Yes they are higher in price but you get what you pay for. Have had the Amazon ones on my 03 Suburban DRL and after 8 months one started ti flicker. Lol

these dont fit the 2024 with sealed LED rear tails. The pathetic thing is the LED rear reverse lights are somehow just as bad as the incandescent rear tails. Cant see anything at night backing up... maybe need a tow hitch light.

I wonder if anybody has been successful with swapping these lights out with the Denali style taillights. The way my elevation is specked out it should’ve had LED tail lights from the factory

They are available for most all makes and models. Safest bet is to go to their site and do a search by vehicle to make sure you are getting the right bulb

Thanks! These wheels don’t come on the Sierra stock… but they are oem gmc wheels. I picked them up new in box off eBay for around 700 I believe

@@dopeboyp3487 ⁠I have had a few comments about the 2024’s, I still really like the lights but the new tail lights might be fully sealed. I think it depends what model you get. May be worth taking a look at the back of the tail light first before spending money on the bulbs. Plenty of other aux lighting options out there though too fortunately

BTW the bulb you took out doesn't look like LED. looks incandecent. LED should be brighter

What are your wheel and tire specs?

These are 275/70/18 wildpeak at3w tires on GM 18” wheels, they are a dealer option you can get. I grabbed this set still new in box off of eBay

@Nikki Covack Nice! Looks good. Thanks for the fast reply. I have the 22" gloss black wheels on my Denali. I want to get some AT tires but I think they will look funny on my wheels. So I'll probably be looking to downsize.

@@Saitama-_-333 I did the same thing. Mine came with the 20" gloss black wheels and jumped down to the 18s for more side wall. If I did it again though... I might have just bit the bullet and cut the fenders for 35s on 20" wheels. They both look good in their own way though.

I didn't actually realize the stock reverseightd were not LED. Is this all trim levels? I'm going to have to check this out.

@@LucBouillonRealty I dont think that it is all trim levels, I believe the denali comes with LED reverse lights. However, I am fairly confident they are not as bright as these bulbs still.

The problem with GM back up lights is that they come on when the vehicle is NOT in reverse?

That’s a courtesy light when you hit the unlock button when it’s dark out, if that’s what you are referring to I think that’s a setting you can change

@@nikkicovack I agree. The problem I see is that it is difficult to tell if someone is backing up or is it a courtesy light. Back up lights should only be used when a vehicle is backing up!

The bulbs are a 1/4 turn and pop straight out. My goal was a test and compare but I’ll include those steps on future videos!

It helps me a lot, I frequently work in remote areas without cell reception. When it’s dark out every bit of light helps avoid an unnecessary issue

I feel that the new Chevrolet trucks suck due to their trailer wiring in both trucks 2019 and the 2022 both failed not very impressed with the Chevrolet company

They do make a series of replacement bulb options for the S10, you can filter by your specific vehicle on their site to check it out. I did see a reverse LED bulb on their site you could replace your stock ones with
