I have a smaller 14’ pool. The cartridge filter just pooped out. Just bought a sand filter online. Waiting for it to come in, checking out videos how to do it. Thank you for putting it out
I had a terrible experience with a Vevor sand filter pump that was defective right out of the box. I'm still trying to get them to fix it under warranty, but they don't seem to care about customer satisfaction. If you ever have to file a warranty claim, you'll be sorry.
When putting it together and handling it, does it feel like its a high quality pump or one of those "you get what you pay for scenarios"? We're probably going with a similar set up this summer and I wanna get ahead of the game from the start.
Quick Question - Any reason why you are no longer using the side inlets of your pool? I have found that after performing any maintenance which requires me to disconnect the inlet hoses, my sand filter pump has difficulty priming if I only have water flowing from the Hayward skimmer after I reassemble everything. But if I connect both the Hayward skimmer and at least one of the two side inlets, the pump primes fairly quickly after purging any air from the lines.
I have the same salt water system and it says up to 3000 gpm. That pump is 3500 gpm. Is it working well still? I want to upgrade my pump and filter but just want to make sure it’s working good. Thanks!
@GlitterB8 I'm not sure what you mean buy water leaking from motor. Tighten all the fittings. If your pump is leaking make sure all the screws are tifht.
