Today's long travel suspension systems put immense side loads and rotational torque on track bar bushings which inevitably leads to wear. Traditional rubber or poly bushings are great in those applications, but you need something that will hold up to the abuse you put your Jeep through. They are extremely rigid while still allowing the necessary misalignment.

Is there anything wrong with the standard rubber bushing for a daily driver with little to no off-roading?

@eaglessj There is certainly nothing wrong with a rubber bushing or a poly bushing, but we do like poly over rubber. A daily driver with little to no off roading will be happy with rubber or poly bushings.

QUESTION: I bought your double shear adjustable track bar and a track bar flex joint for my XJ. I'm confused about the sleeves. On one end of the track bar, will be a regular bushing and on the other end, a flex joint. The instructions are not very clear to me. Where does my flex joint go? On the side that attaches to the axle or the side that attaches to the chassis. And what sleeve do I use for the regular bushing, the 12mm or a bigger bolt. Can you please make an install video, or answer my question. Thank you

@evvis1109 The track bar flex joint uses a 12mm through-bolt. On your XJ that will go on the frame end of the track bar. The axle end of the track bar will use poly bushings and smaller sleeve. If you have any more questions, you can call us at 952-210-7185 or email us at contactus@ironrockoffroad.com or tech@ironrockoffroad.com. We will be happy to help you out!
