If you did not know, a lot of parts from the Porsche 991 and 991.2 911's are cross-compatible with the Porsche 981 family of Cayman models. This is especially the case for portions of the interior. I was able to find a Porsche logo Race-Tex arm rest from a 991 911 in the same interior color and material as my Porsche 981 GT4. In this video I show you how to swap out and replace the arm rest and totally upgrade your 981 with recycled parts found on eBay from parts recyclers so that you can build your own spec with recycled OEM parts at a fraction of the original cost helping you build the specification you want on a budget.
