You can waterproof a receiver box by taking the circuit board out and putting clear nail polish everywhere except the pins. It's not 100% water proof, but that will keep the circuit board from being damaged by splashes. Or tie the receiver up in a balloon, but then it's hard to mount that way. I like the green Gorgon, but i think red looks the best. Arrma knocked it out the park with that body. I have those LED strips. I use shoe goo to stick them on. It's permanent. They do not unstick ever with Shoe Goo. 👍🏽
Awesome video! I’m interested in buying the car and make it brushless. I’ve been looking at a few motors and I think I know what I want but I don’t know if they will fit. Can you help me? Also do you think my e revo1/16 receive would fit?
Sure dude. Any brushless motor would do. Just make sure the size is at least 3660. You’ll need a longer motor because of the way the Gorgon is made and your mini REVO receiver should fit in there with no problem. Good luck bro and hit me up if you have any questions. Thanks for watching
@@Rc-Krazy thanks a lot man! When you say 3660 do you mean a 3660 model in size? Im quite new to switching these kinds of parts.I’ve found 2 surpass 3660 motors both with 4200 kv but one says 3.175 mm and the other one says 5mm. Guess that’s the shaft? How long do the motor need to be?
@@t3floz the 3.175 and 5mm are the size of the pinion gear shaft. The first number of the motor is the size. For example 3650-3660 is your typical size motor for your 1/10 scale and anything over that is good for 1/8 and anything under is good good for 1/12-1/16 scale
Gotta get the 0.8 mod. 1/8 bore . 14 tooth pinion. That's whag i put on. Runs smooth. Perfect gear ratio. Also the Granite wheelie bar fits the GORGON.. I already put mine on. + Cooling fan and the Led light kit meant for this truck. Mine came out sick.. also. If you run the right battery its fast enough stock with the right gearing. Anything more te then 16 tooth on this is going to be to high of a gear ratio
@@Rc-Krazy same . 3660 brushless motor fits the GORGON better.. next upgrade on mine. Going brushless also.. nice build brotha. I'll be keeping up. Already subscribed.
