Fascinating. I’m in the market for a solar install. I was trying to figure out which inverter to buy. It seems everyone that wants batteries and grid tie go with solarks.
@@goodoleme excuse me. Inverter/charger. Are you insinuating it’s anything more? It doesn’t come with a controller, it doesn’t come with any breakers or interconnection equipment. If you buy this inverter, you need other stuff to get it up and running. The beauty of an all In on type inverter is that you side step all these parts and pieces. I get it you don’t have a transformer that is nice to have but at the end of the day Solark has really simplified things and as long as you design your loads around the inverter the transformer less issues are not a problem.
Looks like were moving away from the magnums and into sol-ark these days, I see Scott is doing the same. Good to know, i was just about ready to start a magnum 4448 project. Guess i’ll look at the sol-ark inverters instead. Thanks for the video.
@@GainSolarPower CT's are Current Transformers. You can think of them as a pickup coil if you like. You can get them in various conversion ratios and sizes for a variety of applications. They are very accurate and can be purchased in high accuracy metering grade. My utility power metering is done with a pair of large CT's. The output signal from the CT's feed my utility meter.
