I upgrade my proxmox server from 6.x to proxmox 7 Link to my instructions: drive.google.com/file/d/1Nw4lxdH3HBdynxwnAp1qxLjxs_Tu5Kj-/view?usp=sharing My Channel Link: ru-vid.com
I am surprised that I am not seeing any comments here. I tried this upgrade and received no errors when performing the update but afterwards I have no web access to the gui but I can still SSH into it without issue. Time to start googling.
@@LoResDIY Yeah, there were a couple of things. First I needed to change the settings to update from community sources since I don't have a license. Also, I ran apt install proxmox-ve. Works like a champ now. Just as an FYI I am running this on an old office desktop. I3 with 24gb of RAM and I am amazed how quick the VMs run. I cannot imagine running it on an enterprise server.
Sweet I meant to ask earlier but it slipped my mind. I was running everything on an old desktop also, and to be honest the R610 isn't any faster. I'm hoping that the extra resources it has will come on handy in the near future though.
